Valdez vs Paredes Top “Guilty Fight Night” on March 11

09.03.05 – World-ranked super flyweight Luis Valdez of Tijuana, Mexico, faces hard-hitting Francisco Paredes of Mexico City in the 10-round main event on the nationally and internationally televised “Guilty Fight Night” card presented by Guilty Boxing in association with Tecate Friday, March 11, at El Foro in Tijuana, Mexico..

Undefeated bantamweight Polito Gonzalez of Tijuana meets slugger Arturo Bracamontes of Guayamas, Mexico, in the semi-main event.

The 24-year-old Valdez, ranked No. 19 by the World Boxing Council among light flyweights, lists a record of 11-4-1 with eight knockouts while the 30-year-old Paredes has a mark of 13-9 with 12 knockouts.

The 21-year-old Gonzalez lists a record of 11-0 with nine knockouts while Bracamontes lists a mark of 16-5 with 12 knockouts.

Guilty Boxing’s “Guilty Fight Night” telecasts are seen domestically on America One; in Europe, Africa and middle eastern countries on Fox Sports International; in Europe and Africa on BEN Television; and in the Caribbean on WCVI Super Station.

Guilty Boxing’s weekly cards are seen in almost 50 million households worldwide, making Guilty Productions one of the fastest-growing providers of boxing television programming in the world.

This is another in the ongoing series of “Guilty Fight Night” cards to be held in Tijuana. The innovative Guilty Boxing series was launched last May and has presented cards in Las Vegas, California and Arizona as well as Tijuana.

Six-round bouts on the nine-bout card include: lightweight Daniel Tovar of Mexico City (10-2-1, 4 KOs) against Jorge Valenzuela of Los Mochis, Mexico, (14-6-2, 6 KOs); lightweight Alfredo Guzman of Tijuana (1-3, 1 KO) against Martin Quiroz of Tijuana (1-7, 0 KOs); middleweight Cleiton Conceicao of Sao Paulo, Brazil, (4-0, 3 KOs) against an opponent to be determined; and lightweight Antonio Wong of Tijuana (9-4-1, 6 KOs) against a foe to be selected.

Four-round bouts include: super middleweight Jovan Munoz of Tijuana (2-0, 1 KO) against Juanito Rodriguez of Tijuana (4-3, 2 KOs) against Juanito Rodriguez of Tijuana (4-3, 2 KOs); bantamweight Juan Manuel Ortiz of Tijuana (1-0, 0 KOs) against Javier Gallo of Tijuana

(2-0, 1 KO); and super bantamweight Francisco Leal of Mexicali, Mexico, (3-0, 2 KOs) against an opponent to be determined.

Commentators for Guilty Boxing’s “Guilty Fight Night” telecasts are “The Colonel” Bob Sheridan and Benny Ricardo. Sheridan, a Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, has worked almost 800 world championship bouts on six continents during a career that has spanned more than three decades. Ricardo, for 11 years a place kicker on four NFL teams, also is a veteran announcer and has covered the biggest events in the sports world, ranging from Super Bowls to World Cups.

The card starts at 7 p.m. (Pacific) with gates to El Foro opening at 6.
