Ihor Shevadzutskyi, known as “The Hulk,” with an impressive record of 11-1, including 9 knockouts, is set to clash with Kubrat Pulev, “The Cobra,” who boasts 30 wins and 3 losses, with 14 knockouts. This intense showdown, spanning 12 rounds, is scheduled for March 30, 2024, at the prestigious Arena Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria, battling for the coveted WBA International Heavyweight Championship. Ihor is replacing Mahmoud Charr who sidelined due to a bicep injury incurred during a sparring session.

Ivaylo Gotzev, the brain behind Epic Sports and Pulev’s promoter, expressed his mixed feelings due to Charr’s unexpected exit but remained unshaken. He emphasized the resilience in moving forward with the event, promising a night filled with high-energy fights. Notably, Tervel Pulev, an Olympic medalist and Kubrat’s brother, will also throw punches in the co-main event against Rolly Lambert Tameza.

Gotzev praised Shevadzutskyi’s fearless approach and explosive power, signaling a high-risk battle for Pulev who thrives on facing head-on challenges. The anticipation for a fierce confrontation is sky-high.

Mahmoud Charr, sidelined by injury, shared his frustration but remains hopeful for a swift return to the ring, eyeing a future clash with Pulev.
