This great sport has produced many thrilling, moving, shocking and even unforgettable knockouts throughout its history. And though many boxing fans tune in hoping to see other things: skill, defence, speed, overall ring generalship – there really is nothing like a sizzling KO!

With less than three weeks to go until fight night, Billy Joe Saunders is in the shape of his life for his next World Title defence.
On September 16th, the unbeaten Middleweight defends his WBO crown against American Willie Monroe Jr at the Copper Box Arena, live on BT Sport and BoxNation.
Saunders recently teamed up with Sheffield-based trainer Dominic Ingle, and the move appears to be paying off.

In comparison to the huge carnival of boxing entertainment that was going down this past Saturday night, this Saturday will be a pretty quiet night for fight fans. There are a few cards scheduled around the world, but the biggest, most interesting card will be the one taking place in Chihuahua, Mexico.
Sensational three-division champion Leo “El Terremoto” Santa Cruz will defend his featherweight world title against Chris Avalos, while four-time world champion Abner Mares defends his 126-pound championship against once-beaten Andres Gutierrez at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. on a show presented by Premier Boxing Champions live on FOX and FOX Deportes on Saturday, October 14. Televised coverage begins at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT.
A trio of 154-pound world champions will defend their titles as part of a SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING tripleheader headlined by Erislandy Lara defending against undefeated Terrell Gausha, in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions on Saturday, October 14 live on SHOWTIME (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT) from Barclays Center, the home of BROOKLYN BOXING®. The card, promoted by DiBella Entertainment and TGB Promotions, will feature four undefeated 154-pound boxers and will pave the way for an undisputed king of the 154-pound division.
With all due respect to Rocky Graziano, Rocky Lockridge, Roman “Rocky” Martinez, the fictitious Rocky Balboa, and all those tough triers known throughout the world as a “Real-Life Rocky,” there is in truth only one Rocky that truly and deeply matters: Rocky Marciano – “The Brockton Blockbuster;” the man who the old timers claim was simply incapable of losing a fight.
The final quarter of the year will soon be here, and we boxing fans have quite a lot of good stuff to look forward to. But in the opinion of most fight fans there are two big match-ups – one set, the other still in the works but seemingly very promising in terms of being signed – that are most anticipated.
First up we have the middleweight title fight showdown between pound-for-pound operators Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez, and then, just before the Christmas holidays, we have (hopefully; the fight still to be made 100-percent official) a super-featherweight clash between arguably the two best P-F-P boxers in the world today: Vasyl Lomachenko and Guillermo Rigondeaux.
Murray meets Torosyan on Smith-Skoglund undercard
Martin Murray (35-4-1, 16 KOs) will face Arman Torosyan (18-3-1, 15 KOs) on the undercard of the World Boxing Super Series quarter-final contest between Callum Smith and Erik Skoglund on September 16 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
