Ahead of his massive middleweight unification against Gennady Golovkin at Madison Square Garden this weekend, big-hitting IBF champion David Lemieux has promised he is going in ‘with a nice package to deliver.’

Evidently referring to his vaunted knockout power, the French-Canadian champion is relishing the underdog tag, which he claims will make victory all the sweeter when he manages to detonate on Golovkin’s chin, claiming that in the face-to-face with HBO’s Max Kellerman, he saw ‘caution’ in the WBA champion’s eyes.

Liam Smith Fancies Charlo Unification / Set to Spar Cotto

New WBO 154 lb champion Liam Smith, has stated that the unification fight he fancies most down the line is against America’s new IBF champion, Jermall Charlo.

Smith handily beat one American to win the title last week – in Boxcino tournament winner John Thompson – and caught the ire of another on twitter, in veteran, Shane Mosley – although would face a far stiffer test than either the aforementioned in the young Texan fighter, who won his own world title by destroying Cornelius Bundrage last month.

There is no doubting that Chris Eubank Jr is a top up and coming fighter at 160, and with a couple more good wins can begin chasing serious titles in the division, although his father – now known simply as ‘English’ to avoid confusion, seemingly isn’t helping matters by again insisting, ‘he beats Golovkin now!’

The judges scored the fight 119-109, 118-110 and 116-112.

Fury: Klitschko Delay Was ‘Mind Games’

WBO mandatory challenger Tyson Fury, has re-asserted his belief that long-dominant champion, Wladimir Klitschko, was simply playing “mind games” by delaying their massive heavyweight title fight, that now takes place a month later than originally scheduled, on Nov.28 in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Klitschko revealed he had picked up a calf strain just hours after an animated press-conference in London, that saw Fury arrive in a Lamborghini sports car and dressed in a Batman costume, and many have questioned the legitimacy of the injury – including Fury.
