In 10 days from now, WBC heavyweight champion Deontay “Bronze Bomber” Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs) will be in the ring defending his title against Artur Szpilka (20-1, 15 KOs) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The fight will be televised on Showtime Boxing in the United States, and on Sky Sports in the UK.

In the co-feature bout, unbeaten Vyacheslav Glazkov (21-0-1, 13 KOs) puts his unbeaten record on the line against the undefeated American knockout artist Charles Martin (22-0-1, 20 KOs) in a fight for the vacant IBF heavyweight title that was recently stripped from British heavyweight Tyson Fury.

BROOKLYN (Dec. 22, 2015) – Four heavyweights will meet in two world title fights for one history-making night in Brooklyn.

Undefeated heavyweight challengers Charles Martin and Vyacheslav Glazkov will battle for the vacant IBF World Championship on Saturday, Jan. 16, at Barclays Center, live on SHOWTIME®. Glazkov vs. Martin joins the previously announced main event featuring undefeated WBC Heavyweight World Champion Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs), of Tuscaloosa, Ala., making the third defense of his title against confident Artur Szpilka (20-1, 15 KOs), of Wieliczka, Poland.

“There has not been a heavyweight title fight in Brooklyn in 115 years. On Jan. 16, there will be two,” said Promoter Lou DiBella of DiBella Entertainment.

This great event will be on SHOWTIME January 16, 2016 from Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York. Wilder-Szpilka will be the first heavyweight world championship bout to take place in Brooklyn in 115 years. The last one occurred on May 11, 1900 when champion James Jeffries knocked out former champion, James J. Corbett in the 23rd round of what was his third title defense.

(Photo by Rob Epstein – Gary Shaw Productions) NEW YORK (January 25, 2014) – Tonight Gary Shaw Productions and Antonio Leonard Promotions Bryant “By-By” Jennings (18-0, 10 KOs) remained undefeated in his HBO debut with a 10-round TKO victory over Poland’s Artur Szpilka (16-1, 12 KOs).

From the opening round Jennings controlled the action with his superior boxing skills and eventually landed a body shot in round six to take a convincing lead in the fight. As the fight moved on, Jennings kept the pressure on Szpilka and ultimately closed the show with a combination that sent the Polish fighter to the canvas in the final round. The referee seen enough and the bout was halted at the 2:20 mark of round ten.
