True Match Boxing Invades Los Mochis, Sinaloa

Tijuana-based True Match Boxing led by Eric Ibarra and Daniel Esquer will be traveling south to Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexico, on Wednesday, August 5th, with two of their strongest signings in strawweight Abraham “Choko” Rodriguez and the current WBC FECOMBOX female flyweight champion Tania Enriquez. Both hail from Tijuana. In the main event of the Los Mochis fight card presented by Promociones del Pacifico at the Wipa Bar will be WBC Latino super flyweight champion Oswaldo “Magnifico” Castro (20-6-3, 11KO) who faces Mario Lara (7-11-3, 2KO) in an eight rounder. Antonio Margarito Presents Fight Card This Friday

Three time welterweight champion and now burgeoning boxing promoter Antonio Margarito presents his second fight card of his career this Friday night at the legendary Municipal Auditorium of his hometown of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Margarito first captured the WBO welterweight title in 2002 by stopping Antonio Diaz in ten. He went on to defend that title seven times. He then captured the IBF version by stopping Kermit Cintron in the sixth round and the WBA strap with the biggest win of his career, an eleven round demolition of then undefeated Miguel Cotto. Along with the explosive main event of junior welterweight Emmanuel “Renegade” Robles (7-0-1, 3KOs) of San Diego putting his perfect record on the line against the dangerous knock out artist Joshua “Superman” Marks (8-4, 8KOs) of El Centro, San Diego’s premier professional boxing promoter Bobby D.
