A lot of people were offered a fight with Queen G, Vera, Mora – Kirkland, Soliman.
Dzinziruks promoter was not able to find any body in 154 lb so he was pushed to 160( Martinez), and 165 (vera). It’s what destroed him in first, and only one fight per year + age second. He’s promoter fault on the top of everything.Posted January 27, 2013 6:05 pm
I see good
The match up of KIRKLAND and VERA would be great. The 2 best “B” class fighters out there. They both have NO potential, better yet put them in the ring at the same time with Canelo.ha ha haPosted January 27, 2013 1:04 pm
I See Good
Nicolas What potential does VERA have?????? SLOW SLOW wide punches NO defence. Tough yes but thats ALL he has. Hes just a CLUB fighter thats all NEVER be a WORLD CHAMP. He and KIRKLAND are KING of the B class fighters. Thats all they ever will be.Posted January 27, 2013 12:59 pm
I SEE GOOD
The Russian has nothing to worry about. Vera, Kirkland ha ha ha ha.. Thank GOD the Russians are taking over. USA once was dominating boxing. NOT anymore, Lets NOT talk about heavy weights. ha ha haPosted January 27, 2013 12:54 pm
GGG should look into a better fight then this…to many people making this guy out to be a god when he could step-up alot better then hes doing.Posted January 27, 2013 3:22 am
Vera vs Kirkland 2!Posted January 26, 2013 8:17 pm
well I guess this is GGG’s next opponent….or maybe he’ll bring up another hopeless JMW, Kirkland perhaps? It’s high time GGG fights someone that stands a chance!!Posted January 26, 2013 8:08 pm
Awesome win for BV! Honestly, Golovkin would/will pound Vera out inside 6. Look at Proksa’s style and then look at Vera’s. Proksa was more polished. Vera has less evasiveness and is a bit slower. They both (Proksa and Vera) swing a wild, almost looping overhand right. Golovkin throws straight. Vera will go inside 6, for sure.Posted January 26, 2013 6:31 pm
enjoyed watching Vera’s persistence and eventual wiin. Dzinziruk was simply unable to de-escalate the conflict long enough to avoid being battered and punished. he bowed-out gracefully and consciously. he had experienced enough for one night. Vera deserves the payday he’s earned and if it’s Golovkin, he’ll definitely earn it.Posted January 26, 2013 3:45 pm
Agreed that Dzi needs to retire.
Dzinziruk was much better a couple of years ago at light middle….he’s clearly past it now.Posted January 26, 2013 2:25 pm
Nice job Brian.Posted January 26, 2013 1:36 pm

Right on Brian, nice work…Posted January 26, 2013 11:53 am
“Dzinziruk is one of the worst fighters coming in with a 37-1-1 caliber record …” I have to disagree with you about Dzin’s jab, Tark. He has one. That’s about the only thing that saved him from being stopped earler. /But, Dzin is one of the most one-dimensional fighter’s I have ever seen. He went to Vera’s body what, one time? Then he’d keep backing into a corner letting Vera hammer him to pieces–no defense at all. Vera’s a scrapper, and he’s tough, but but he’s still a B level fighter. GGG won’t be letting those looping overhand rights land with any regularity. Still, I’d rather not see GGG waste his time with Vera right now. He has bigger fish to fry. If they’ll step up.Posted January 26, 2013 10:46 am
he’s a tough kid vera.sergiy is done.put a fork in it. good scrap.Posted January 26, 2013 5:57 am
GGG is probably thinking “WOW!! someone WANTS to fight me” theres a firstPosted January 26, 2013 5:45 am
good result for Vera it should land him a big fight, GGG will win but at least the guy wants to fight him when others are running scared.Posted January 26, 2013 5:35 am
vera will get kill if fights GGG he may have his moments but they will be short lived indeed …Posted January 26, 2013 4:30 am
Mike I don’t disagree but I don’t blame Vera for trying to get the fight. To be honest my boxing mind would rather see GGG fight Pirog or Peter Quillin but I like Vera for his blue collar attitude. He is a fighters fighter and that side of me hopes he gets the fight.Posted January 26, 2013 4:30 am
GGG is going to KO this guy Vera inside 9 rounds.Posted January 26, 2013 3:02 am
Dzinziruk is one of the worst fighters coming in with a 37-1-1 caliber record who I’ve ever seen in my life.. He has no footwork, no jab, no straight left, and no defense.. He has no chin either—as Sergio Martinez battered him at will and virtually destroyed the punch resistence he did have when the bell rang for the first round of that fight.
This was supposed to be an easy win for Dzinziruk–but I’m amazed he wasn’t hammered into the canvas during the first round … since he gets caught with everything..
I pray Vera doesn’t get a Golovkin shot because of this fight.. Heaven help us.Posted January 26, 2013 1:42 am
There never was a doubt what kind of fight Vera was going to perform tonight. I learned more about what Dzinziruk was then anything else. He is the classic European boxer who never learned to move from his waist up. The guy was like a robot in there. Straight up stiff,Atlas never once mentioned all Dziniruk can do is arm punching. Dziniruk’s uppercut had no leverage whatsoever. Yep, he never grew in style from the day he turned pro. I am more shocked the so call public annointed great one, Sergio Martinez, did not put Dzinziruk away in the frist round. Gimmee a break, Dzinziruk is no good for the pros. Congrats to Vera who in spite of the lack of boxing talent has the guts and blue collar persistence to keep his boxing career alive for another day.Posted January 26, 2013 1:13 am
Say what you want about Vera not being polished but I like this guy. I like seeing a “fighter” fight, and he brings it every time. I hope he gets the Golovkin fight and does his thing and picks up another upset. He’s Texas’s Mickey Ward.Posted January 26, 2013 1:12 am
Think twice? These guys are fighters. You get your chance and you go for it. If you think twice you might as well as not go into boxing. I though Vera would lose badly tonight but he pulled out a good victory. Sure I pick GGG to win but Vera should go for the best fight he can get.Posted January 26, 2013 12:47 am
dzinziruk looked like garbage tonight. Vera better think twice before he tries Golovkin, who is far more skilled and definitely tougher.Posted January 26, 2013 12:33 am
Vera against Golovkin may happen now.. Vera never reads his memos. Should be fun while it lasts.Posted January 26, 2013 12:24 am
