Mayweather won’t risk losing to Pacquiao, or getting knocked out.

Get ready boxing fans, Manny Pacquiao’s Grand Arrival is slated for today at the MGM Grand. Manny Mania is alive and well, and Las Vegas adopted son is arriving to clean up Sin City. Mayweather’s own town transforms into Manny Pacquiao land. The iconic legend brings in fans from all over the world. The stars are out, world leaders and dignitaries all come out to see arguably the greatest fighter of all time. The only 8 time division boxing champion ever. Manny Pacquiao is coming, and half the world is coming along with him. The blazing hand speed, the graceful, and artistic movement and the destructive power will all be present when Manny Pacquiao steps into that boxing ring on Saturday night. My bags are packed, my Manny Pacquiao attire is neatly pressed, and we’re set to go. Boxing needs Manny Pacquiao more than fish need water. Opening Day for Major League Baseball is dwarfed by the news of Manny Pacquiao arriving in Las Vegas. Imagine Manny coming out to ring in his patented colors of his homeland, the beautiful head band, the bounce in his legs and the million dollar smile as the house erupts with passion and emotions. The crowd cheering “Manny, Manny, Manny, Manny, Manny, Manny”. And I will be the one fan in the crowd leading that chant. Never again will there be this kind of excitement in any event. You will have missed a part of life if you’re not glued to your tv set or at the live event. Manny Pacquiao is making his triumphant return to glory. He will turn back the hands of time and begin his second reign as P4P King of the ring. Don’t blink because something special will happen before round 4 or no later than round 9. Trust me on this, Manny Pacquiao is simply the best ever. That was hard to say because that encompasses a lot of great fighters, but Manny is the best!

PacMan beat Bradley 9 or 10 rounds out of 12 in their first fight. To see the TB fan-boyz riding his sack so hard, like rodeo queens, and predicting he’ll stop Pac totally cracks me up… LOL. TB simply doesn’t have the power to stop Pac. If anyone is going to get stopped in this fight, it’s TB. Get real!

Khan/Collazo is a great match-up, I love that fight. But Broner vs. Molina is a mismatch. Love/Periban is good if Love decides to open up and fight.

Showcase bouts are fine, just not for $70.00.

But…is that was makes a meaningful fight card for you? Whether or not the fighter is a popular one? No consideration in what the style match-up is and whether or not it’s a consequential fight?

Hmmmmmm?

Pac is on the decline and he needs to reinvent himself he needs a win a big win, he needs to KO Bradley and keep winning but the reality is he hasnt been dominate since 09 and he has no big fights on the horizon he walked away in 09 from Floyd so I am not sure if it can be made but he has Marquez 5 as well, no way he survives both. Hell even the Bradley fight wont do 1 million ppvs…

Havoc…Your argument about why the PPV numbers of Pacman’s last fight were poor makes no sense. Yes the fight was staged in China; HOWEVER; it was on PPV and broadcast EVERYWHERE. The Chinese weren’t the only ones able to purchase the fight via PPV WE ALL WERE; so the fact it was staged in China is a POOR EXCUSE. Now if the attendance was bad; that’s one thing; but PPV; that makes no sense. Undercards play a HUGE part of a PPV event….Tomato can makes a very valid point. Most folks who can afford to go to the big fights are not real boxing fans; they are casual fans and many go just so that they can say they were there or to be seen. The average blue collar boxing fan can’t afford several thousand dollars to go to these events. They will pay for PPV but even PPV is expense and folks want their money’s worth.

That card was horrible, and was made that way because HBO and Top Rank was taking a gamble by staging it in Macau, China.

It was all showcase bouts…basically ESPN fights.

B Red: “Herron, your delusional if you think the Pac Bradley card is better than the Floyd undercard”

Wait and see…they will be much more entertaining fights. They’re all better match-ups.

B Red, do you really like Broner vs. Molina? What about Love vs. Periban?

Of course the names are more recognizable on the May 3rd undercard, but that doesn’t mean the fights will be exciting or entertaining.

Styles make fights, and 50/50 match-ups are always better for the fans.

“FYI Canelo Alvarez will be fighting at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on July 12. Reportedly Canelo sent an offer to Erislandy Lara and are awaiting a response.”-Its called POSING. Canelo knows that Lara has a Fight scheduled on May 2nd or 3rd. July 12th is only about 9 weeks from that which gives Lara not much time to recover before jumping right back into training camp for July 12th….Lara most likely won’t accept that and that gives Canelo a cop out to say that he offered Lara a Fight and he didn’t accept it…..IF he shocks them and DOES accept they’re counting on him being over trained due to training for almost 4 months straight. SO basically its a SISSYFIED move by Canelo.

The fight was on PPV here in the states where all the casual and diehard fans could have ordered; so how did you come up with that assessment???

Posted April 7, 2014 8:36 pm

Octavius Jomar Chatman

Havoc…Your argument about the poor PPV numbers of Pacman last fight makes no sense. The fight was held in CHINA; BUT it was still on PPV and was able to be broadcasted everywhere else. Manny don’t need good undercards? Well Havoc, Arum seems to agree with you there. Cause he’s not interested in putting a good undercard together.

Posted April 7, 2014 8:26 pm

Havoc, then you might as well pass up the PPV and catch the main event the following week on regular HBO. I enjoy other fights and fighters besides the main events. But it the card is filled with a bunch if no names they be better be good fights and fighters, or I won’t pay much attention. That’s not what a PPV event should be about in my opinion, no matter who’s in the main event.

Posted April 7, 2014 8:22 pm

Octavius Jomar Chatman

Havoc…What you just said is NONSENSE. First off; it was ARUM who wanted the fight in China because of Pacman’s asian background. Secondly; he held it there because after Marquez beat him in the 4th fight; Arum was quoted as saying Pacman needed to fight abroad because he was being double taxed and was paying too many taxes here in the states. So I’m quite sure if he felt China was SO CHEAP as you insist; he would have NEVER staged the fight there. Thirdly; the fight was broadcasted here in the states. The fact it was fought in China doesn’t have anything to do with the numbers because his fans here in the states could have still ORDERED the fight. How it did ATTENDANCE WISE; and PPV wise is TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!!!!

This one will go the distant but if Mannys aggressive it could turn ugly Tim comes in with his head a lot he reminds me of a miniature Evander Holyfield this could be stopped on a cut from a head butt or some kind of foul. Or it could be a war the fight is Mannys to win or loose badly. Bradley is one tough SOB and he is looking to prove a point.

2009:
Boxing fans finally have confirmation of what many of them have so vehemently believed for years – that Floyd Mayweather was ducking Manny Pacquiao.
“Hell no I didn’t want to fight Pacquiao after he whooped Cotto,” Mayweather said in an exclusive interview with ProBoxing-Fans.com, referring to Pacquiao’s November 2009 clash with Miguel Cotto. Pacquiao stopped Cotto in the 12th round of that bout, picking up his welterweight title in the process.
“The drug testing stuff, the feud with [Bob] Arum… I mean, yea, I hate that guy, but it was a plan, a blueprint.
“The plan was for me to stay unbeaten, become the biggest star in the sport, and wait for Pacquiao to lose in the meantime. I knew it would happen, and it did.
“Listen, it’s not that I was scared of Pacquiao man. I’ve been fighting in the ring since I was 2. It’s just that I didn’t want to do it.
“Cotto took a real beating in that fight, he probably didn’t recover for years. It wasn’t something I needed to do, and I didn’t need Pacquiao to help my legacy. I already have my legacy, period.”
Pacquiao’s victory over Cotto is still hailed as one of the most impressive of his career, and it’s the fight that really created the initial push to see a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather clash at 147 lbs. Let’s look back at the timeline:
December 2008: Pacquiao retires Oscar De La Hoya in his 1st fight above the lightweight division
May 2009: Pacquiao crushes Ricky Hatton in the 2nd round, outdoing Mayweather’s 10th round TKO victory over the Hitman
September 2009: Mayweather returns to the ring after a two-year hiatus, dominates Pacquiao-rival Marquez
December 2009: Pacquiao destroys Cotto, establishing himself as a legitimate welterweight
These are the big events which produced the urge to see Pacquiao vs. Mayweather, and at any point after Pacquiao’s win over Cotto and before his 2012 loss to Juan Manuel Marquez, it would have been not only the biggest fight of the generation, but one of the grandest in recent boxing history.
Except, it was never going to happen. Mayweather simply never had any intention of agreeing to the fight.
Here’s more of what he had to say:
“Mosley, Ortiz and the rest of them guys were easy work. The Money Team knew that from the get go. Me and Ellerbe don’t make stupid, high-risk decisions like that. Dollars make sense, period.”
When asked whether or not he regrets the decision to avoid Pacquiao, Mayweather couldn’t help but laugh before answering.
“Are you kidding me? Look at me now, and look at him.
“He got laid out face-first on the canvas by Marquez, a guy that didn’t even deserve to be in the ring with me.
“I bet he’d love a share of my money now, but it still ain’t gonna happen. Never gonna happen. He doesn’t hold a chance anymore, but he’s just not worth it. I’ll let Bradley or Marquez take care of him again and we’ll see who really gets the last laugh.
“I’ll retire undefeated, untouchable, greatest to ever lace ‘em up!”

Mike Tyson.

See boxing is a contradiction only when the fight happen we know for sure.
Tough slugger like GGG will be taken out by another less tough slugger and boxer like Thurman or porter. Because no boxer in his right mind want to fight GGG . PAC is this half slugger half boxer.

A Slick boxer will take out a slugger who slow, not experienced, who doesn’t watch a boxer low left jabbing hand that he can’t see right in front. and other boxers.

But A experience boxer slugger would see that low left and that take away there points jab hand and the right hand that follows, he will beat boxers.

So Bradley and PAC are the best slugger and boxer. Who better? We find out next Saturday
And Floyd the best slick boxer
So at last the Best from top rank and best from GBP Finally has been decided

In history we alway had his shown down th slick boxer vs the slugger boxer. We need to demand this last fight from arum and GBP. Not wait till Floyd or PAC retired in 2-3 years, they want to give us old men fighting at the end. That what Iam talking about. Promoter watch the site as a gage of match ups and feed back. We don’t want it or expect it. We don’t get it.

Mike Tyson.

Here we go again, everybody has a favorite because boxing is 50/50. Or they is no fight,
Think logic or boxing showdown. Last standing 2 fighter.

Bradley or PAC will be the best of top rank fighter these fighters eliminated all of top rank fighter

Floyd has to fight eather of these two fighter or he half a champion. We all need to come together to demand this fight. They owe use this fight.

Who ever win its ok he be the champion we will all agree on. Then both of these fighter can retire thank you and “good riddance” . Let the younger fighters have a chance to shine and find a new champion and make money. Don’t you agree this is best for boxing. They both had they time it’s been over a decade and still they have not meet. They are two champion one on GBP side and the other is top rank side. We need to agree that we want this fight, good riddance when both are gone.

then the question would be who else can beat Bradley ? The young fighter will get there. Porter maybe. GGG Thurman, etc

BTW, if Maidana gasses out against Floyd like he did late in his fight with Broner, Floyd will take him out. We do have that possibility to look forward too.

Regardless, my prediction for this fight is the same today as it was when the fight was first announced: Floyd will win by UD but there is a possibility that Floyd will stop Marcos late in the fight for the reason I previously mentioned. But I also predict that Marcos will knock Floyd down–I just think Floyd is going to get nailed by one of Maidana’s looping punches.

Yep. With the exception of his fight with Victor Ortiz, Floyd’s fights are pretty much the same–potshotting exhibitions. We almost always know what to expect. His KO of Ortiz was his only stoppage since TKOing Ricky Hatton back in, oh, what was it, 1410 A.D.? LOL. Anyways, yeah, I agree with you. Fortunately for us however, Maidana will carry the fight on May 3. He may lose, but he’ll still carry it because he will be the one going forward for the whole fight while Floyd will be the one going backwards for the whole fight.

“Main event sale fights! Not undercards! I don’t buy bullsh1t about not wanting to watch because they have a crappy undercards. It’s all about the main event!”

Actually Havoc, undercard fights can and do make a difference. Having Khan/Collazo on the undercard of Mayweather/Maidana is a very smart way to boost PPV sales. How about Garcia/Matthysse fighting on the Mayweather/Alvarez card? Call that a “co-feature bout” if you like, but anything other than the main event on a Mayweather fight card is an undercard bout.

The thing about Pacquiao fights is that generally speaking they have the ability to carry the PPV all by themselves. Arum knows this, so he often doesn’t build a real strong undercard for Manny’s fights.

GBP on the other hand, knows that making great undercard fights also boosts PPVs. Tell me you didn’t think Garcia/Matthysse helped make Mayweather/Alvarez the blockbuster that it was. This fight card also included Molinas/Smith, Cano/Theopane, and oh my God, Justin Bieber showed up! LMAO! It was a great show all around.

If you buy a fight because “it’s all about the main event” that’s great. But a lot of fight fans also want a good show for their money–not just one fight, even if it’s a great one.

The dumbest thing Pac and Roach have done this time around is to talk about their strategy. “We’re going to be more aggressive, we’re going to throw more punches, we’re going to fight three minutes of every round.”

Making these revelations may seem innocuous to some people but I sure don’t see the genius in telling your enemy how you’re going to fight him.

Seems to me it would be a lot more fruitful to stay mum, then after entering the ring, do all those things–by complete surprise!

No matter. I hope Bradley remembers to bring his socks this time, and that they are very good socks.

I also hope Manny remembers that telling his enemy how he is going to fight them is akin to drenching himself with gasoline then lighting a match–there’s is a chance the vapors won’t ignite.

Pacquiao’s* going to be “aggressive”. Pacquiao* is going to “hunt Bradley down”. the fight “won’t go the distance”; Pacquiao* won’t let up until “Bradley surrenders”. based on what? historically, Pacquiao* has been stymied by thoughtful and deliberate emphasis on defense. take a look at Pacquiao’s* rematch v. Barrera for evidence of that; Manny* was virtually paralyzed by Marquez’s thoughtful boxing-punching performance in III; and Bradley defused Pacquiao’s* offense in their first bout. doesn’t Pacquiao* need a jab? has he finally developed his right-hand? is his offense really the best defense? you know. BOXING-Related factors that might build actual BOXING-Related anticipation of the matchup. instead, we get nothing but shrill commercials counting on general boxing-ignorance to corral a paying audience. not with this matchup considering that the ignorance extends to the headline fighters being featured on the card.

Fight sells is a big factor on making future fights Hidalg0. I am interested in the boxing aspect more but the simple fact that Arum pisses on its consumers by not putting on good under cards is an issue with me. He doesn’t even attempt it, he just stakes claims that nobody cares about the under cards. So like I said, I am interested to see how this fight sells. Especially since Pac is gonna do what he has never done before and be more aggressive and hunt down Bradley. Oh wait he attempts to do that every fight.

Btw, it’s not only the frequency of articles but the monotonous topic of each article, e.g., We Get It. Pacquiao* is going to reclaim his previous nickname of “Typhoon” and “Destroyer” to redeem his official loss v. Bradley. why not a detailed examination of how frequently Team Pacquiao* has miscalculated with these canned declarations. are they sincere? or simply promotional hype to sell their fight? in which case, what is the paying fight-fan actually being asked to pay for? bottomline, every pundit’s “power of persuasion” is falling flat on this fight-fan. like a never-ending episode of “Face Off” with equally flat and canned outcomes and virtually zero insight into each fighter’s actual preparation, e.g, what’s different?; why?; who?; and sincere pre-fight analysis that reveals the doubt and anxiety that truly fuels anticipation of a genuine showdown. the storylines being spewed for this rematch feel like reading the “info” of a replay on cable. I’ve seen this already and it sucked. what’s going to be different about the rematch and how?

HERRON, an article examining the lack of substance contained in this fight-card would generate “serious” traffic but serious would take work, journalistic integrity, and actual writing talent. NONE of which is evident in the slew of promotional articles hyping this mediocre PPV fight-card. you have mainstream sensibility and commercial priorities, which this fight-fan has the luxury of pissing on with my ridicule or indifference or supporting with my paying interest. as a paying fight-fan I’m telling you that I don’t care how much perfume you pour on this turd. it’s still a turd smothered in cheap perfume. moreover, the glaring bungles, stumbles, and mainstream promotional hype contained in your “serious”(?) pre-fight blogs distinguish you as less-than-convincing or knowledgeable than most of the ESB regs who post on this site, i.e., You’re complicit in the fraud NOT a guardian of my favorite sport’s integrity. when you dare make the shift, i’ll let you know. after all, the Reader/consumer determines the integrity of the writer/journalist NOT the other way around. Get It?

I am actually looking forward to see how this fight sells. Of course websites are gonna post a lot of Bradley vs Pac stuff. They are fighting in 6 days. That is normally how the sport works. The closer the fight the more media attention it gets unless it’s a fighter not widely known. Pac is widely known so this will get a lot of attention. So did the Rios vs Pac fight but we all know how that ended up. Either way I am watching the fight at a friends spot. And if I wasn’t I would of purchased the fight.

LOL…Tumbo, look around the net, man…there’s a reason why so many boxing writers are publishing Manny and Tim articles on the net at this time and not anything concerning Floyd or “El Chino” just yet.

It’s not just to try and hype the fight.

It’s because they’re the only articles right now that are driving some serious traffic.

I know you really don’t want to believe that the Pacman faithful are out in full force…but they are.

On every single boxing website, Pacquiao traffic is absolutely crushing everything else.

So for the next six days, learn to love it, amigo!! LOL

Manny hasn’t been dominate since 09 when he put on a string of wins against handpicked guys who were dehydrated and coming off big losses like. Oscar, Cotto and Margecheato. And Hatton. Since then he lost 2 out of his last 3 fights and suffered a devastating KO by Marquez. And beating Rios proved what? He was nothing more than a punching bag who anyone could have looked good against, he stood right in front of Manny and Pac still couldn’t finish him? Bradley is a tough SOB with something to prove he will be game and in the fight all night Manny will have to KO him and I don’t see it happening not to mention Tim can take a shot he was hit by Ruslan and didn’t fold. Manny will have to pitch a shut out he has a lot to prove to get back on top. This fight is simply not a big draw aside from the fact that the under card sucks, no one iw really interested in Manny or Bradley for that matter…

I think Bradley will be more then willing to engage with Paquiao on the inside. I think this fight will be more of a war then a boxing match. Paquiao had some problems against Rios with his inside fighting where he was looking to referee for some help. Manny is also easily tagged with the uppercut sometimes when fighting inside.

Pac won the first fight by at least 3 points on my card…probably more than 3 rounds, but this time around I have a gut feeling Bradley is gonna win….Maybe by knockout…He almost knocked Marquez down in the last round of their fight…The one thing I learned about Bradley is he finds a way too win…He reminds me of Holyfield in a sense that people tend to not give him the credit he deserves…Remember, He beat Marquez legit, the man who knocked pac out cold….And if that Russian fighter (I forget his name) couldn’t knock Tim out, I seriously doubt pac could at this stage of his career…

Tomato Can: “It’s a shame the undercard is so bad though. It’s looking like Arum is content wit giving the fans subpar undercards for Pacquiao events.”

It’s not a bad card at all, brother. It’s not Arum’s fault that Martinez fell off the card the week before the event.

With that said, I still like the match-up, “Beltran vs. Usmanee”…Arash is a spoiler and should give Ray a great fight.

I love “Vargas vs. Allakkverdiev” for the WBA 140 pound title. Khabib is one of the more underrated title holders in boxing, putting his title on the line against a hungry, young and undefeated contender.

And Vasquez vs Felix Jr is a great style match-up between two prospects in the 130 pound weight division, competing for the interim WBA title.

All of these fights are better match-ups than Broner vs. Molina, and Love vs. Periban

I think Bradley may be able to take advantage of the fact that Paquiao is still a little guy shy from being knocked out by Marquez.it will give Bradley a slight mental edge on the inside fighting.at least in my opinion anyway.

Javielito, I agree. Reading “So we still don’t know if Pacquiao can deal with movement.” is such a ridiculous statement. Pacquiao won the first fight on all but the judges scorecards and to say Pacquiao ( a world champion is multiple divisions ) can’t deal with movement is such an uninformed statement it’s beyond belief. I too am totally frustrated with the decline in the quality of the articles on ESB and will look for alternatives. Red flag was when the “Write for us” icon appeared on the right of the screen. Someone suggested that writers should provide their credentials with their article so they can be vetted. I suspect Jeff Sorby has none.

Worthless value for $70. Pacquiao obv won 10 out of 12 rounds so there’s no reason for a rematch other than to correct the mistake of CJ Ross and Duane Ford. Both of them have been banned from boxing. That’s not coincidental, unless you agree that Floyd-Canelo was a draw, like CJ Ross claimed.

Its funny how ignorant people refer to lateral movement and foot work as Running! Pacquiao only does well against slow moving stationary targets! This is an attempt to lure Bradley into brawling instaed of boxing. I guess Marquez moving backwards was considered running

Posted April 7, 2014 2:30 am

The author and most boxing experts don’t understand one thing that Bradley’s running and not fighting inside is not the strategy to have a chance against manny , Bradley knows that if he runs he will get knocked out sooner or later because PAC is fast and cuts the ring very well and will catch him from the outside , Bradley will probably do what he did in the first fight and that is bend his head as low as possible and hold as much as possible so that PAC can’t do a combo and want have a chance to connect and make it a boring fight .there needs to be a good ref that will warn Bradley if he bends his head very low otherwise we won’t have a fight at all just breaks and holds …

lionhard my friend, sit back and watch what a truly great fighter can do with his back against the wall and all the pressure in the world on him. I truly believe he will put together a masterful performance. The under card fights do not add anymore to Manny Pacquiao’s fights, especially this one. Yes we would like to see a decent under card fight, but it’s nothing that will decrease the value of the Main Event. Manny could go out and warm up in the ring before he fights, and there would be more excitement generated that fighters that really have no real impact on boxing. This is a one of a kind type talent that knows what the stakes are. I am excited to see this fight as millions of others around the world. This is a historic battle that involves arguably the greatest fighter of all time. He makes headlines just going for a jog. I can feel the excitement in the air. Timothy Bradley will not win this fight. he will be stopped, trust me. Manny is the best!

Test avoider???

The only one wanting to avoid a tough test of his skills is Floyd. Pacquiao is fighting the undefeated Welterweight Champion Tim Bradley.

Floyd is a 3-time Super Welterweight Champion but won’t fight a unification fight with Erislandy Lara… And Pacquiao was Floyd’s mandatory at 147, but he’s fighting the highly beatable Marcos Maidana instead.

The KO is the longest sleep in boxing history!

Manny is an aggressive fighter but when he gets hit with an overhand right bomb, thats it lights out. Bradley will use that on him and some kidney punches too. And Manny is stubborn and not learning from that JMM bomb. And there you have it he he’ll get KOed but this time he won’t be in the longest sleep in boxing history just a KO and a lot of hurt.
This is Manny’s last fight with HBO. He’ll retire or will be fighting in ESPN’s Friday night fights sometime late this year.

I don’t know what fight this pundit was watching. Possibly the same fight C.J. Ross and Duane Ford were watching.

This pundit says.., “Pacquiao looked confused unequipped to handle Bradley’s movement in their first fight in June of 2012. Even with two bad feet, Bradley had Pacquiao thoroughly befuddled, and was able to easily avoid his attacks. For Bradley it doesn’t make sense for him to change anything from their first fight if Pacquiao still hasn’t proven that he knows how to deal with movement.”

That is not what happened Sorby…

What happened is Pacquiao landed more, better, and harder punches … and won the fight 8 rounds to 4… Out of every 15 judges who scored that fight I would bet anything that 14 would have Pacquiao the winner … because every scoring criteria was Pacquiao’s by a wide margin.

Pacquiao was saddled with 2 judges who hated him and didn’t want to see him win … or gave the fight to Bradley for some other consideration.

Hecdog youre a true fan!! Do you have a life sized cardboard prop of your hero in the livingroom!? Does your wife want you to remove it? Do you have recordings of Mannys post fight interviews playing throughout the day as you revel in the sound of his voice?

Lets see if your predictions come true, lets see if you really have that discerning eye towards your glorified hero. The thing is, to pay 70$ for such a wack undercard will probably force me to wait until after the fight to see if you were right. Arum is wrong to suggest, that all we as fans care to see is the main event! He needs a wakeup call in the worst way…..he’s too old in the game to believe something so devoid of truth!

Obviously this writer is not a very studious when it comes to knowing the legendary Manny Pacquiao. People have to stop dwelling on the age (35) stuff. This is one super naturally gifted athlete. Manny Pacquiao hasn’t lost a step, he’s actually gained 2 or 3. Has anyone watched his sparring? I have seen the man, and he’s coming out with both guns blazing. Tiring? Stop drinking before making these statements, Manny Pacquiao has never tired in his life. He’s cutting off the ring, using the right uppercuts and setting things up with his jab. Manny is on fire right now, and he will be in peak condition come April 12, and I for one will be there. The man is sky high on emotions, and he’s more than just confident. Bradley will realize that Manny Pacquiao is not the same fighter he stepped into the ring the first time. He’s not getting older, he’s getting, faster, stronger and he loves the attention of this fight. Bradley is under the impression that Manny isn’t the same fighter he once was, and that’s true because he’s better. Freddie likes to stir things up, but when you see Manny fight next Saturday, you will be shocked. Bradley isn’t going to out box, out fight, out counter, out run Manny Pacquiao. He will take a savage beating and won’t know what hit him. Manny will win in stunning fashion before round 4 or no later than round 9 unless Bradley runs all night, but that’s not going to happen. He will eventually come to fight, and you will see him drop. Manny Pacquiao wil do what Duran did after his ko loss to Hearns. He will do the unthinklable because he’s a special type of person that can rise to the occasion, and he will come April 12. trust me on this. Manny will shock the boxing world, but not me. I know what he’s capable of. Manny is the best

As I see it, Manny’s only 35, and I believe that if he’s trained properly he can chase Bradley for the entire fight. Will Manny be able to K.O. Bradley? I wouldn’t bet on it, but if Manny fights as he’s capable of doing, then he should win a decision against Bradley.
