Well if we don’t know how to fight then why didn’t Burns accept the challenge. Broner said he wanted a fight with him but then he went in a different direction and then took another turn. His career may stall with the Warren thing

Fight Aficionado

I’ve not seen this Gonzalez before or if I did it wasn’t on a major show. Seems like a pretty good prospect.

srminimo Ricky will be a lightweight for a while, at least another two year, Abril is awkward but well beatable Ricky would set right about him.

KOrnerman- I think Abril is probably a bad move for ANYONE. Even if you beat the guy chances are you’re not going to look good. I’m guessing the big fights for your man are at 140 (where Abril will probably have to go as well).

Actually Burns turned the fight din. He tried to fight Vasquez to see if he could win the belt to get more leverage at the negotiating table to get a higher payday cause he knew he would lose against Broner. So it was Burns who ducked Bromer then ducked Vasquez

Chelo is going to WUP THAT ASS. LIGHTS OUT

One thing that worries me is that Rick gets complacent, and maybe it turns out like the Evensen fight. Put a challenge infront of him and he is a beast

I wont lose sleep mate lol, I hope like Trav say’s he beats this guy then gets a big fight, I think Abril would be a good move, take the wba title route then a big fight with Vasquez, Broner might be planning a trip back down or he would have relinquished his wbc belt so that fight might still happen, hopefully it does.

kOrmerman- don’t lose too much sleep over it. Chelo is a very raw guy that began boxing at 24, makes a lot of amateurish mistakes and can be pushed into a bit of a shell under pressure. The one thing going for him is that he hits like a mule, but if he wasn’t so advanced in age I doubt very much his people would even want this fight.
