Erik Morales vs. Danny Garcia (WBC super lightweight): Erik “The legend is Over” Morales is 35 yrs old, but as far as boxing yrs, he is more like 135 because of all the mileage he got from the many wars especially with Barrera. On top of that he lost his title on the scales, so what does that tell you. Up and coming standout Danny Garcia has beaten good fighters in Greek Spartan Mike Arnaoutis and Jorge Romero and great fighters in Nate Campbell and Kendall Holt. Expect Danny to fight a measured fight early then come on during the stretch. Hopefully this is Erik’s last time out because he needs to retire and enjoy his notoriety.
James Kirkland vs. Carlos Molina (super welterweight)
James last time out exciting TKO over Mexican standout Alfredo Angulo. Kirkland possesses good offense, great pressure, but uses the age old Philly adage which is the best defense is a good offense. Carlos has beaten many good fighters including New York City tough cookie Allen Conyers, Great fighters in Kermit Cintron and drew with Very good Cuban Erislandy Lara and Chavez, Jr. Jr won rematch and other loss to undefeated West Coast tough guy Mike Alvarado.. Expect Carlos to stick and move and will outpoint this way. If he lets Kirkland walk in the front door its lights out since he can take you out with either hand and has with many good/great up and coming fighters.

Zab 34 yrs old, 41-7 has showed in the recent pass that he can even win exchanges with the likes of Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather for a short time, but fades in the stretch. He has a much better resume than Paris and of course he invented the Queer Street Shuffle in his Ko’d by the great Kostya Tszyu. Vernon has beaten many good fighters including Courtney Burton, Emanuel Agustus, and undefeated Tim “Pit Bull” Coleman. Expect Zab to blow him out in the mid rounds unless he fades towards the end. Zab always upsets and wins the fights that gets him to the peak only to crash and burn everytime. Zab take a close look at your paycheck after trainer, after manager, after hanger’s on and after Uncle Sam and ask yourself is it worth it.
Siarhei Liakhovich vs. Bryant Jennings (heavyweight) : Siarhei has been in with much higher caliber fighters in winning WBO Title over Lamon Brewster, Ko’d by Shannon Briggs in the last round of a fight that he was pitching a shutout. Lost to the Jolly Red Giant Nikoly Valuev and last time out KO’d in the 9th by Viking standout Robert Helenius. Expect the White Wolf to keep fight on the outside, slow down to a half court press and hug and hold too much. Expect to find out where Philly’s reputation came from when he turns it around in the mid rounds. If he doesn’t KO Siarhei expect an air tight decision that could go either way.
Tomasz Adamek vs. Nagy Aguilera (heavyweight): Tomasz “I haven’t met a man I wouldn’t fight” Adamek is the much more accomplished fighter, but took a lickin by Vitali last time out; so will he still be tickin, that’s the question. Nagy is a tough cookie who can mix it up with anybody. Expect Tomasz to come out tickin like a time bomb and take Nagy out mid to late rounds.
