North Bergen, NJ – Junior-Welterweight contender “Mighty” Mike Arnaoutis of Atlantic City, NJ will make his second straight appearance at North Bergen, NJ’s Schuetzen Park when he faces off with Troy Browning on August 27. The 10-round main event will headline the show promoted by Pound4Pound Promotions. “I want to thank John and Pat Lynch for giving me the opportunity to fight in their main event once again,” says Arnaoutis, 22-3-2 (10 KO). “Troy Browning is a very tough, rugged opponent who I will not underestimate. He will be coming to win, just as I am, and will be dangerous for the whole fight..”
Browning of Willingsboro, NJ has lost three straight fights but against excellent opposition. The combined records of Browning’s last four opponents tally an incredible 96-6-2. Browning turned heads in 2007 when he upset highly-regarded prospect Julio Cesar Garcia on ESPN2.
Arnaoutis, renowned for his slick boxing ability, thrilled the North Jersey crowd by standing in the pocket and trading blow for blow with the hard-punching Doel Carrasquillo in June. Arnaoutis won by unanimous decision in a trade-shot rumble that had the crowd on it’s feet for the duration.
Arnaoutis recently received an award from the International Boxing Federation for making the most defenses of his USBA title in 2008 than any of their other champions.

Salem, NJ (August 8, 2009)—This Friday night two of the hottest fighters in the boxing Mecca that is Philadelphia will apply their craft across state lines in New Jersey as undefeated lightweight, “Hammering” Hank Lundy and rising Jr. Middleweight, Derek “Pooh” Ennis will participate in separate co-features on a big night of boxing at the Campbell Fitness Center in Salem, New Jersey.
The DUNGEON IN SALEM is promoted by Lamar Johnson’s Dungeon Warrior Promotions in associations with Bionic Bull Promotions.
Lundy, 14-0-1 with eight knockouts will take on Gary Bergeron in a bout scheduled for eight rounds.
Lundy of Philadelphia has developed into one of the hottest prospects in the city as he will take on anyone at anytime regardless of his opponent’s record or credentials.
Lundy has stopped his previous two opponents including Josh Beamon in his last fight in five rounds on July 17th.
Bergeron will be looking to upset Lundy and walk into enemy territory to do it.
The native of Chalmette, Louisiana sports a record of 10-4 with six knockouts. In his last bout, Bergeron dropped a six round unanimous decision to Henry Mitchell on July 25th in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
Ennis of Philadelphia quietly climbing the ranks and is on the cusp of landing a significant bout.
Ennis has a record of 18-2-1 with twelve knockouts. Ennis is riding a six bout winning streak with three of those wins coming by knockout. In his last bout, Ennis scored two knockdowns en route to a six round unanimous decision over the durable John Mackey on July 10th in a bout that was televised on ESPN 2.
Ennis opponent will be announced shortly.
In a six round Jr. Lightweight bout, Coy Evans of Philadelphia will battle Darrell Martin of Baltimore, Md.
Evans has a record of 4-0-1 and is coming off a four round unanimous decision over Jose Espinal on February 3rd in Brooklyn, New York
Martin has been a staple in the Delaware Valley as this will be his be the tenth appearance in the tri-state area.
Martin sports a deceiving record of 4-10 with one knockout as the combined record of his opponents is 61-7-5. This will be the fourth consecutive where Martin will be taking on an undefeated opponent.
Martin is coming off a six round unanimous decision defeat at the hands of Eddie Soto (11-0) on July 17th in Providence, Rhode Island.
In a six round Lightweight bout, Antonio Espinoza will risk his undefeated record against san opponent to be named.
Espinoza of West New York, New Jersey has a record of 11-0 with one knockout and is coming off a six round unanimous decision over Ron Boys back on May 23rd in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
In a Ladies Lightweight bout, Elizabeth Sherman of Philadelphia takes on debut Keytida Cook of York, South Carolina.
Sherman has a record of 1-0 which was a knockout over Samantha Ward of Anderson, Indiana on June 27th.
Coming off his debut victory on April 4th, Soumana Abdoulaye, Lonnie Jackson Jr. will battle debuting Bobby Bynum of Wilson, North Carolina.
Rounding out the card will see Dan Grafton of Philadelphia battle Walter Tyler of New Jersey in a four round Cruiserweight bout.

Former Heavyweight Boxing Champion Denorvell Collier Knocks Out ABC-TV’s “Wipe Out”
Temecula, CA – Reality television has revived many careers. For former California State Heavyweight Champion Boxer, Denorvell Collier, a dose of reality will indeed lend a booster shot to his visibility as well when he attempts to knock out “Wipe Out,” ABC-TV’s top rated reality series! Collier will join 24 thrill seekers on Wednesday, August 19 at 8:00 pm EST as they compete in the world’s largest extreme obstacle course! Not unlike twelve rounds in the ring, Collier will face a battle of stamina and endurance as he once again reaches for the championship.
At 6’5″ and 250 lbs, the 50 year old boxer maintains a commanding stature. Collier was a true contender in his day. With a record of 28 fights, 9 knockouts and 7 losses, he possessed a great chin and excellent power, fighting the likes of Buster Douglass, Monte Masters, Alex Garcia, Mark Wills and Eric Curry. The Chicago native was originally discovered and mentored by Muhammad Ali, who encouraged him to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue professional boxing as a career. After attending Indiana State University on a football scholarship, Collier took Ali up on his advice, becoming his workout and sparring partner. He later went on to befriend Mike Tyson and shared fight cards with him as well.
With his good looks and physique, Hollywood soon came calling. Collier made appearances in movies and commercials, including “Only in America” the story of Don King, “Diggs Town” with Lou Gossett Jr., and “Highway to Heaven” with Michael Landon.
But, October 29, 1985 is the day Collier made the boxing history books. A young Dee met the legendary iron-chinned Randall ‘Tex’ Cobb in the ring. Cobb was heavily favored to score a decisive win with an undefeated knock out record. But someone forget to tell Collier. Once the bell rang he immediately used Cobb as a punching bag and knocked the rugged Texan out after a severe battering. Cobb hit the deck four times within 2 minutes and 31 seconds of the fight. It was a fight for the record books! Tex Cobb was slated to fight Michael Sphinx for the title next but never did due to this defeat.
Today Collier has reemerged on the scene to take on competition-styled reality television. A retired federal corrections officer, Collier body builds daily in his free time, easily pumping over 350 lbs in free weights.
With all the arrogance of his mentor, Muhammad Ali, Collier professes, “Being retired, I watch a lot of television. I haven’t seen anyone as strong as me or as pretty as me yet. I figured reality tv needed me. “Wipe Out” proved to be more challenging than going toe to toe with any contender. It was a great experience!”
