Aaron Williams Returns on Hartford, CT Card

Undefeated cruiserweight prospect, Aaron Williams (15-0, 11 KO’s), returns to the ring November 24th on “Pinnacle Fight Night: The Heat is On in Hartford” at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT. Williams is the chief support for CES stablemate, Matt “Too Smooth” Godfrey. Godfrey will be defending his NABF Cruiserweight Title against Jeremy Williams in the 12 round main event..

“Training has been going very well. I keep learning new things with Eddie (trainer, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad),” said Williams after a recent workout at the Top Rank Gym in Las Vegas. Williams has been sparring with Brazilian knock-out artist, Laudelino Jose Barrios (25-1, 23 KO’s).

In his last fight, October 6th, Williams stopped undefeated Ryan Carrol at 2:18 of round one.

“This will be Aaron’s sixth fight this year,” said co manager Albert Falcon. “He’s only 21 and it’s important to keep him busy. To that end, our promoter, Jimmy Burchfield and CES show their continued support and commitment,” Falcon said.

Williams, a nine-time national amateur champion, has been gunning for a showdown with undefeated cruiserweight Alfredo Escalera. “We were supposed to fight Escalera in August, but Escalera turned it down,” said co-manager, Patrick Doljanin. “If Escalera continues to hide, we’d like to fight Shawn Hawk or Gary Gomez next.”

Williams is trained by former WBA Light Heavyweight champion, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad. His conditioning coach is the highly regarded, Axel Murillo. Murillo is also the conditioning coach of WBC Light Heavyweight champion Chad Dawson.

Williams is managed by Albert Falcon and Patrick Doljanin. He is promoted by Jimmy Burchfield’s Classic Entertainment and Sports. You can visit their website at www.CESboxing.com
