11.01.07 – Fort Smith, AR – www.TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions announced today that the River Valley Fight Night Show scheduled for January 20th has had such a positive response; it had to be moved to a larger venue in order to accommodate the ticket demand. “We have had such a demand for our pre-fight-night ticket sales, that the Event Center wasn’t going to cut it”, stated Bill Calogero, President of TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotions.. He added, “Keith Terceira, the Event Coordinator was able to come through and locate a bigger, and better venue to accommodate the demand. If it wasn’t for Keith’s relentless commitment to bringing the best show possible to Fort Smith, I am not sure we could have pulled it off. The last thing I wanted to do was turn fans away because we could not accommodate them.”
The New Location will be at the Kay Rodgers Park Expo Center, Located on 4400 Midland Blvd. in Fort Smith. The date and start times are all the same. (January 20, 2007 with the first bout at 7:00 pm). River Valley Fight Night, (Saturday January 20, 2007), will kick off TheDailySports.com Boxing Promotion’s ten-fight series scheduled for 2007 and has shaped up to be a GREAT card featuring young up and coming fighters. “I want to bring Professional Boxing at its finest to Arkansas. I believe that the fans are second to none here and should be rewarded with quality, action-packed and competitive bouts”, stated Bill Calogero.
The Main Event, will feature Kenny “The Raven” Craven vs. Terry Porter. The Co-Main Event will put Charleston, AR native Justin Flanagan against Conway’s Omid Bahreini.
