Fistic Carnival – “A Night of Destruction” is presented by Dana Pitcher Productions.

Dana Pitcher together with legendary matchmaker Peyton Sher are redefining the present state of boxing, giving fight fans their money’s worth with well matched, hard fought bouts uncommon in today’s boxing world. Boxers with their managers and promoters looking for the fast track to a championship bout rarely take the chance of recording an untimely loss, and so the art of matchmaking has been replaced with the art of “mis-matchmaking.” This will not be the case with Dana Pitcher Productions as their dedication is to the fans that are desperately looking for competitive matches. Pitcher was recently quoted as saying Fistic Carnival -“A Night of Destruction” will be one of the finest fight cards ever in the state of Georgia.”

The 1st main event features light heavyweight knockout artist “African Spice” Jaffa Ballogou battles against the royal and rugged “King” Lawrence Chapman of Atlanta. Jaffa, who hails from Togo, is promoted by the illustrious Don King and he is a former WBC International Super Middleweight Champion. Of Jaffa’s 39 knockouts, 34 have come in the first two rounds. “Please get to the arena early and be seated, because my fight is not going 10 rounds,” he said. “King” Lawerence countered, ’Jaffa’ you’re right, I’ll take you out in six.”

Alex “Ali” Baba, who now makes his home in Doraville, GA, steps it up in the second 10-round clash against Mexico’s fearsome Ruben “Yiyo” Sanchez. Baba returns to the ring, following his exciting second round TKO win over Miguel Martinez on the Dana Pitcher Productions “A Night of Champions” event at the Wild Bill’s Concert Hall back in April.

Alex “Ali” Baba who has never hit the canvas was outstanding the last time out at Wild Bill’s as he displayed his true warrior spirit. That’s exactly what our fans want to see and that’s why he’s so popular in the ATL. Fans know he’ll fight to the end and they have a great deal of respect for him” said Pitcher. Previously, you have seen on Fox Sports, ESPN, Comcast Sports, HBO, Showtime, and MSG and now you can see him live.

In addition, as a special attraction, making her highly anticipated professional debut on this spectacular extravaganza will be the lovely but dangerous Lori “The Cheetah” Rivas of Las Vegas, NV. “Lori has a better right hand than Laila Ali,” according to her world famous trainer, former two-time world champion, Roger Mayweather. Mayweather, although banned from the ring, because of his actions in the now infamous “Sworn Enemy’s” (Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Jab Judah), vows to be in attendance to incredibly coach her from the bleachers to victory. Pugilism will never be the same after this fine female boxer/model wrecks havoc on the Dirty South. It’s a contest that you and your friends will not want to miss.

Legendary matchmaker Peyton Sher has ,once again, put together an outstanding undercard for this truly epic event, it will include bouts featuring Atlanta fan favorites, lightweight Tyrese “The Head Honcho” Hendrix 5-0-1 (2ko’s), lightweight “Handsome” Oscar De La Cruz 3-2 (2ko’s) and cruiserweight Preston Haliburton 3-0 (0ko’s). Also see up and coming greats like featherweight John “Action” Jackson 5-0 (5ko’s), lightweight Roberto Cancio 3-0 from Mexico and Jorge Ruiz 4-0 from Cuba to name a few.
