Radio Show Moving To A New Time

MANSFIELD, MA. – “Inside the Ring” with host Mike Nosky is moving to a new time slot and a new expanded version. Beginning on Sunday, October 2 the new jewel of the 95.9 WATD-FM program schedule is being moved to 4:00 p.m., giving boxing fans a full hour of the latest boxing news from around the globe and some of the best interviews of the biggest stars in the sport..

“I am real excited that I got behind this idea right from the beginning,” promoter Rich Cappiello said this week. “It’s a great show and Mike is a great host. He does such a good job with the news and his interviews. The show is only getting better week after week.”

With the expanded format of the show, fans can expect added commentary and more in depth analysis of the boxing scene. Fans will be invited to call in to the show and emails will be answered live on the air beginning on October 2.

“We knew starting out that if “Inside the Ring” turned out to be a success that we would have the opportunity to expand to the full hour and move to a different time slot,” Nosky stated regarding the changes. “This is a great chance for us to really stretch our legs. I have made a lot of friends over the years covering the sport and I am looking forward to introducing them all to the fans of the show.”

Famed trainer / manager Joe Lake occasionally joins Nosky live on the air and serves as the expert boxing analyst for “Inside the Ring”. Mike calls on Joe whenever a true boxing question needs to be answered or to help break down or preview the big fights from around the globe.
