“Guilty Fight Night” on May 10th

11.05.05 – Hard hitting Jesus Rios of Mexico faces slick boxing countryman Arturo Bracamontes in the 10-round bantamweight main event on the nationally and internationally televised “Guilty Fight Night” card presented by Guilty Boxing Friday, May 20, at El Foro in Tijuana, Mexico..

The 20-year-old Rios, from Guasave, lists a record of 20-2 with 18 knockouts while the 30-year-old Bracamontes, from Guyamas, lists a mark of 16-6 with 12 knockouts.

Guilty Boxing’s “Guilty Fight Night” telecasts are seen domestically on America One, Comcast Sports Chicago, DirecTV, Dish Network and The Urban Network; in Europe, Africa and middle eastern countries on Fox Sports International; in Europe and Africa on BEN Television; and in the Caribbean on WCVI Super Station.

Guilty Boxing’s weekly cards are seen in 112 million households worldwide, making Guilty Productions one of the fastest-growing providers of boxing television programming in the world.

This is another in the ongoing series of “Guilty Fight Night” cards to be held in Tijuana. The innovative Guilty Boxing series was launched last May and has presented cards in Las Vegas, California, Arizona and Connecticut as well as Tijuana.

An eight-round fight on the 10-bout card includes super featherweight Michael Lozada

(15-1-1, 9 KOs) of Tijuana, Mexico, against Juan Ruiz (15-9-1, 6 KOs) of Los Mochis, Mexico.

Six-round fights include: middleweight Octavio Castro (7-0, 4 KOs) of Guyamas against Alonso Mada (4-2-6) of Hermosillo, Mexico; super welterweight Ernesto Carmona (11-6, 10 KOs) of Mexico City against Joel Juarez (7-2-1, 7 KOs) of Hermosillo; welterweight Fernando Uribe (4-0, 3 KOs) of Mexico City against Edgar Ibarra (7-3, 4 KOs) of Los Mochis; featherweight Francisco Leal (5-0, 3 KOs) of Tijuana against an opponent to be determined; bantamweight Jesus Vasquez (8-0, 6 KOs) of Culiacan, Mexico, against an opponent to be determined; and super flyweight Daniel Gonzalez (5-0, 3 KOs) of Guyamas against Sergio Chavez (2-1, 1 KO) of Hermosillo.

Four-round bouts include: welterweight Ivan Alvarez (1-0, 1 KO) of Mexicali, Mexico, against Jorge Luis Castro of Los Mochis; and lightweight Oscar Meza (4-1, 2 KOs) of Culiacan against Gustavo Mandujano (1-1, 1 KO) of Tijuana.

The card starts at 7 p.m. (Pacific) with gates to El Foro opening at 6.

Commentators for Guilty Boxing’s “Guilty Fight Night” telecasts are “The Colonel” Bob Sheridan and Benny Ricardo. Sheridan, a Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, has worked almost 800 world championship bouts on six continents during a career that has spanned more than three decades. Ricardo, for 11 years a place kicker on four NFL teams, also is a veteran announcer and has covered the biggest events in the sports world, ranging from Super Bowls to World Cups.
