Over 70,000 tickets have been sold for the World Heavyweight title unification clash between Anthony Joshua MBE and Joseph Parker at Principality Stadium in Cardiff on March 31, live on Sky Sports Box Office – and a limited number of tickets will go on sale on Monday January 29.

In an ideal world, the winners of the fast-approaching world heavyweight title fights – between defending WBA/IBF champ Anthony Joshua and WBO ruler Joseph Parker, and between WBC king Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz – will meet up and fight before the year is out. And it is this ideal world Wilder hopes he lives in.

First of all, it must be pointed out how Joseph Parker has no evidence whatsoever – zero, nada, zilch. And Parker himself stops short of flat-out calling Anthony Joshua a steroid cheat. However, the reigning WBO heavyweight champ has caused quite a stir with his comments on this, always a sensitive subject, all the same.

Speaking with the Radio Sports Breakfast, the New Zealand warrior began by replying to Joshua’s recent statement that Parker is “The Pie King” (a reference to Parker’s physique).

WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker could be looking at an estimated payday of $12 million for his unification fight against IBF/WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua for their fight in March or April. According to the New Zealand Herald, Parker would be looking at a potential $12M payday for the Joshua fight, which is expected to take place in the UK.
