In the latest Gennadiy ‘GGG’ Golovkin news, his IBF mandatory defense against obscure fighter Kamil Szeremeta is potentially being moved to April 11 in Kazakhstan, according to ESPN.
After a 10-day trial period of training at Victor Conte’s SNAC facility in beautiful San Carlos, California, Gennadiy Golovkin (40-1-1, 35 KOs) plans on training for his full camp there for his next title defense of his IBF middleweight belt against unbeaten mandatory Kamil Szeremeta (21-0, 5 KOs) on March 28.
Gennadiy Golovkin (40-1- 35 KOs) is hoping to get a trilogy fight against Saul Canelo Alvarez (53-1-1, 36 KOs) after getting the short end of the stick in their rematch last year in September 2018.

Third Fight With Canelo In May?
According to a short news bit from ESPN.com, promoter Eddie Hearn met with Gennady Golovkin on Thursday of this week, to discuss the former world middleweight champ and now two-time IBF belt-holder’s next fight.
Though IBF middleweight champ Gennady Golovkin craves a third fight with arch-rival Canelo Alvarez, the Mexican star doesn’t seem too interested, stating on a conference call to hype his upcoming light-heavyweight debut against Sergey Kovalev that a third fight with GGG is “no challenge” to him.
Armed with his recently captured IBF middleweight title, Gennadiy Golovkin (40-1-1, 35 KOs will be facing either Saul Canelo Alvarez of his IBF mandatory Kamil Szeremeta in May of 2020.
