the D Las Vegas and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC), along with Neon Star Media and Roy Englebrecht Promotions, have announced the formation of a new monthly boxing series, “Knockout Night at the D”.
(San Diego) – With a commitment to showcase “boxing at its best”, the last fight card of their schedule is no exception for California boxing hall of fame promoter Bobby D. Presents. On Friday, November 21st, San Diego, CA, will be the host of a world title when Tijuana’s Kenia Enriquez (12-0, 6KO) faces the much more experienced Ana “La Bronca” Arrazola (20-10-2, 13KO) for the vacant WBO flyweight world title. The Enriquez vs Arrazola world title fight is scheduled for ten explosive rounds and will headline a jam-packed six bout fight card billed as “Dangerous Divas II”. The event is co-promoted with Latin America’s most successful promoter, Zanfer.
(San Diego, CA) – For twenty-year old Kenia Enriquez the next step in her career is long overdue. Fighting for the first time outside her hometown of Tijuana on Friday, February 28th, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Mission Valley, she feels that it’s only the most logical next phase for her. Enriquez will facing the also undefeated Noemi Bosques (4-0-2, 1KO) from Florida in a scheduled six rounder.
(San Diego, CA) – The table is set for undefeated twenty-five year old San Diego fighter Emmanuel “Renegade” Robles (9-0-1, 3KOs) to take the next step in his and in typical Robles fashion, he is not taking the easy road. Robles will be facing 2008 Olympic bronze medalist and interim WBC 140lb Latino champion Yordenis Ugas (15-1, 7KOs) of Miami, Florida, by way of Santiago, Cuba in the ten round title main event of “San Diego Fights”, the first fight card of the year for California Hall of Fame promoter Bobby D Presents in association with Caribe Promotions on Friday, February 28th, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Mission Valley.
At the beginning of the year, California Boxing Hall of Fame promoter Bobby DePhilippis of Bobby D Presents would have found it hard to believe that he could have topped his last show of 2013 where local Aaron Garcia stopped the rugged Kevin Hoskins before the six round limit. Along with Garcia’s top-notch performance, DePhilippis featured a slew of local talent in front of a sold out crowd at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Diego. By the looks of the line-up for the next installment of his “San Diego Fights” live professional boxing series, DePhilippis might have done just that. Set for Friday, February 28th, at the new home for local San Diego boxing, the aforementioned Crowne Plaza, Bobby D. Presents in association with Caribe Promotions have assembled a world-class six bout fight card that is sure to open up the 2014 season with a bang.
