Sjomkin-Cendrowski on Klitschko vs. Adamek undercard on September 10th; Froch 9/4 to beat Ward in October; Rosado-Collins on 9/9

The Estonian super middleweight warrior Anton Sjomkin (13-4, 11 KO) will be on the road again on the 10th of September 2011, fighting 8 rounds against Mariusz Cendrowski (21-3-2, 8 KO) on Vitali Klitschko – Tomasz Adamek -undercard at the Megashow in Wroclaw, Poland.

In March 2011 Cendrowski lost a 12 round fight in Georgia for a International Boxing Organization (IBO) Middleweight title and now he is for the first time fighting in Super Middleweight division.

-I’m a live underdog in this fight, and I’m gonna make the fight of my life to upset Cendrowski, in his own backyard, Anton Sjomkin promises.

-It is a great possibility for Anton to fight at this show, and at the same time it is an excellent opportunity for our stable to show our quality to the world, comments the manager Petro Koskimies.

Only two weeks after this Petro Koskimies promotes his own show under the banner of Caramelito Promotions. The show will take place in Vaasa, Finland, the hometown of the stable. The main event will be 10 rounds for vacant Finnish national and vacant Baltic Boxing Union (BBU) heavyweight belt between Janne Katajisto (8-0-1, 3 KO) and Petter Antman (8-1-1, 1 KO). Also cruiserweight Janne Forsman (2-0, 1 KO), welterweights Jarkko Jussila (3-0, 1 KO) and Teemu Tuominen (1-0, 1 KO) will be fighting at the show. All undercard fights will be scheduled over 4 rounds.

The Russian heavyweight fighter Daniil Peretyatko (17-27, 7 KO) who currently lives in Kirkenes, North Norway, is looking for a comeback fight as soon as possible.

-I have been negotiating for some fights for for Daniil, but every time the promoters has declined him at the last moment, and chosen another opponent, comments Markus Lammi, the matchmaker of Caramelito Promotions, who also works as one of the agents for Peretyatko.

-Daniil is always in good shape and ready to fight, even on short notice, continues Lammi.

TOP NOTCH FROCH IS SUPER 9/4 SHOT

CARL FROCH is a 9/4 chance with William Hill to win his October showdown with unbeaten Andre Ward to win the Super Six tournament which got underway two years ago.

‘Ironically, when the tournament began, Carl was 11/4 second favourite with Ward a 13/2 outsider, and Hills offered 10/1 for the pair to meet in the final but Carl has been beaten en route while Ward has remained undefeated and is now odds on favourite at 1/3’ said Hill’s spokesman Graham Sharpe. ‘We have seen some hefty five figure wagers staked on the tournament’s matches – and the biggest of all, £50,000, was on Froch to win the fight in which he was beaten by Mikkel Kessler. With the fight free to air on Sky we are expecting over £10million to be gambled on the outcome.’

TO WIN SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT SUPER SIX SHOWDOWN….1/3 Ward; 9/4 Froch; 25/1 draw.

Philadelphia, PA—King Gabriel Rosado, of Philadelphia, who takes pride in being a Philly fighter, meets Keenan Collins, of Reading, PA, for the vacant Pennsylvania State Junior Middleweight Title in a scheduled 10-round contest Friday evening, Sept. 9, at the Asylum Arena, 7 West Ritner Street.

“It takes a lot of pride to be a Philly fighter,” said Rosado, who is returning to action less than two months since knocking out Ayi Bruce, of Ghana, in five rounds on July 15. “Philly fighters have skills, but at the same time they have a lot of heart, so when I step in the ring, I want to display my skills and at the same time entertain the crowd because they want to see a good fight.
