On The Grind Radio, the boxing radio phenomenon known for bringing cutting edge analysis, guests, predictions, and commentary to the budding world of boxing radio, has just been hit with an Icy wind…courtesy of the Iceman. We are pleased to announce the welcome addition of former World Title challenger, current boxing trainer and commentator, Iceman John Scully into the OTG Radio family. Scully officially joined forces with Tim Kudgis and Suge Green to create the premiere boxing internet radio ensemble, during their recent 25th episode. John will be continuing with his many current commitments in the sport while simultaneously serving along side his new partners, on Sunday editions of On The Grind (OTG Radio is on Thursdays also)..
Tim Kudgis said, “John is the real deal. The choice was obvious. His credentials are unparalleled and unquestionable.” Kudgis wasn’t done praising his new co-host yet, “Scully really belongs on HBO, but Suge and I are happy he was available (laughing).”
Suge Green was quoted as saying, “The Iceman is a welcome addition to the team, he’s a seasoned pro and a proven commodity in the sport of boxing on multiple levels…and besides, the chemistry was there from the first time the three of us talked.” Suge is referring to Scully’s first appearance at On The Grind, as a guest rather than a host. He went on to say, “Scully is a multifaceted addition to the show. Look at it this way, he’s a boxing competitor, trainer, historian, and Rolodex…all rolled into one. Ice, Tim, and I are looking forward to making 2009 the year of On The Grind Radio.”
