With only a few weeks to go until the “Steelyard Brawl” on August 2nd, One In A Million Inc. prospects Ed Ochoa 4-0 (4KOs) and Evette Collazo 3-0 (2KOs) will take some time out of their busy schedule to participate in the Northwest Indiana Puerto Rican Parade this Sunday in East Chicago, IN..

The parade kicks off at noon at 152nd street and Indianapolis Blvd. The Northwest Indiana Puerto Rican Parade is a region tradition where thousands of people gather to celebrate the Puerto Rican culture. Fans are encouraged to line the streets early to get a view of both Ochoa and Collazo who are quickly making their way up the boxing ladder. The two OIAM superstars in training will be thrilled to get away from training to say hello to the thousands of parade goers this Sunday.

Ed Ochoa has started his career off with a bang winning his first 4 fights by knockout. The 26-year old Hobart native has shown a strong commitment to utilizing all the amazing tools he possesses every single fight. During his first four fights, Ed has displayed his strong boxer-puncher background in the ring working the jab early in fights and finishing opponents with crushing power punches. Ed has promised to put on a show for all of the fans on August 2nd at the USS Steelyard. FEMALE SENSATION “K” WESTTO FACE HARD-HITTING CYNTHIA TALMADGE

July 18, 2008 — Less than a month after moving up two weight divisions and dominating veteran boxer Elizabeth Villarreal, top bantamweight prospect Kaliesha “Wild Wild” West (9-0-0, 1 KO) will be returning to her weight division to square off against Cynthia Talmadge (2-1-0, 2 KO’s) on the undercard of ESPN 2’s Wednesday Night Fights.

West will again be fighting in front of her home crowd on July 23rd as the bout is scheduled to take place at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, California. This will be a great battle with two of California’s top bantamweight’s going toe to toe in pursuit of a world title.

In her last fight, Kay was able to take advantage of a stronger Villarreal with a flurry of combinations that caught the veteran off guard several times throughout the bout. She won by unanimous decision in an impressive fashion and had her home crowd on their feet the whole bout.

The Moreno Valley native is continuing to train diligently with father and trainer Juan West for her bout with hard-hitting Talmadge, a San Franciscan, to show that Kay is the only California threat in the bantamweight division.

Look for Kay West to continue her dominance and build on her #10 WBC ranking in hopes of title shot. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Morongo Box Office at (951) 755-5391 or online at www.ticketmaster.com
