Jason “Big Six” Estrada – “This (pro debut) is really a new start for me. I’ve been waiting for this moment a long time. I could have turned pro after the 2000 Olympic Trials (rather than stay an amateur), but things worked out (Estrada made the 2004 U.S. Olympic Boxing Team). I didn’t medal, but it was a good experience. I boxed so many different guys and styles, the only difference turning pro will be getting used to no headgear. I’m in better shape, physically, than I was at the Olympic Games.”
