Hopkins is managed by his uncle, World Middleweight Champion, Bernard “The Executioner” Hopkins.

A special feature attraction is the return of former amateur standout, welterweight Rudy “El Cachorro” Cisneros, (1-0, 1KO) in a four round bout. Co-headlining the card is another junior welterweight affair between two rising prospects as Kendall Holt of Patterson, NJ, (15-0, 11KO’s) takes on Tom Davis of Weatherford, TX, (8-1-1, 4KO’s) in an eight round bout.

Also returning to the DePaul Athletic Center is Chicago native lightweight Tommy Pyle, (1-0) who made his successful pro debut in a terrific slugfest against Marty Lee Nunn this past April. Pyle will face off against Danny Schlienz, (4-4-1, 3KO’s) of Grand Macias, MN in a scheduled four rounder.
