It was a good performance from Peterson, who came into the fight having been out of the ring since 2015.

Roy Jones Jr. took care of his over-matched opponent Bobby Gunn tonight in defeating him by an 8th round TKO in a fight that looked more like an exhibition bout than a real one at the Chase Center in Wilmington, DE. The fight was brought to a halt in the 8th. Gunn’s trainer stopped the fight at the start of round 8. The fight should have been stopped immediately after the 7th, as Gunn looked hurt and in bad shape.

In a one-sided fight, IBF lightweight title holder Robert Easter Jr. (19-0, 14 KOs) had an easy time pounding out a 12 round unanimous decision tonight over fringe contender Luis Cruz (22-5-1, 16 KOs) at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. Cruz made a fight of it, but he didn’t have the weapons to compete on an even playing field with the 26-year-old Easter Jr.
Results: Zhanat Zhakiyanov defeats Rau’shee Warren
Fighting with his Ricky Hatton-esque style, Zhanat Zhakiyanov (27-1, 18 KOs) defeated WBA World bantamweight champion Rau’shee Warren (14-2, 4 KOs) by an impressive 12 round split decision tonight at the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio. The fight was pretty one-sided. There was no reason for the contest to be a split decision, because Zhakiyanov punished the 29-year-old Warren with power shots from rounds 2 through 12.
Robert Easter Jr. defeats Luis Cruz in one-sided fight
Nearly 10,000 fans turned out for hometown hero Robert Easter (19-0, 14 KOs) as he impressively defended his lightweight world title against Puerto Rico’s Luis Cruz (22-5-1, 16 KOs) at the Huntington Center in Toledo, OH in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions: The Next Round on Bounce TV. The 2012 Olympic alternate used his reach and power throughout the fight, knocking Cruz down three times en route to a unanimous decision victory.
Results: Chris Eubank Jr stops Renold Quinlan

Chris Eubank Jr. (24-1, 19 KOs) used his high volume punch attack to defeat IBO super middleweight champion Renold Quinlan (11-2, 7 KOs) by a 10th round mercy stoppage on Saturday night at the Olympia in London, England. Referee Howard John Foster wisely pulled the plug on the fight in round 10 after Eubank Jr. trapped Quinlan against the ropes and was hitting him nonstop with power shots.
Christian Hammer stops David Price, Price’s career could be over
Tonight in London in the chief support to the Eubank-Quinlan IBO super-middleweight title fight, Germany’s Christian Hammer stopped an exhausted David Price in the 7th-round of an exciting heavyweight battle. Price, in a must-win fight, had huge success early on, dropping Hammer and hurting him a number of times, but he simply ran out of gas and wilted when a determined Hammer showed he was tough enough to stick around.
The end came at the 1:20-second mark of the 7th, when Price, stuck on the ropes, open-mouthed and taking shots, forced the referee to dive in and halt the fight. Price, in losing for the fourth time, all by stoppage, is now 21-4(18). Hammer, in scoring one of the biggest wins of his career, is now 21-4(12).

Anthem finishes, crowd lets out an excited roar of anticipation! Excitement is palpable. The figure of 30,000 in attendance has being mooted and it sure looks like a packed house. Mundine ring walk, painted Aboriginal warriors lead Mundine out in reflecting the pride in his indigenous heritage. The Adelaide crowd are expected to give Mundine a hard time because of comments he made about the historical subjugation of his people and they do exactly that.
