Daniel Jacobs (35-2, 29 KOs) became a two-time world middleweight champion on Saturday night in beating 2008 Ukrainian Olympian Sergiy ‘The Technician’ Derevyanchenko (12-1, 10 KOs) by a 12 round split decision victory to win the vacant International Boxing Federation 160 lb title on HBO at Madison Square Garden in New York.
