C: agreed!! I’ll be rooting for Katsidis. He’s fearless and that’s saying a lot because he doesn’t have much defense unless his new team can close in those gaps.

Katsidis is far from done!!
He is one of the most brutal and entertaining boxers to date.
The man is a true warrior!!!!

Danny G: Agreed he never has won a genuine title. However he’s been a 100% credit to the sport. As an Australian citizan he’s entitled to fight for the Commonwealth title & I for one would like to see him go for that on his way to looking for greater glory. I believe George Ashie is the current 130Lb champion & think a contest between the two of them could be a right tear up. There’s 54 countries in the Commonwealth & it’s just not used enough as a stepping stone to World title fights as promotors seem to believe that the general public are stupid enough to accept interim/intercontinental & international bangles!

Katsidis is a delight to watch fight. He never leaves anything in the ring and is prepared to go out on his shield. I’m with most when I think he doesn’t have too much left in the tank. But what a fearsome gatekeeper for so many overhyped or inexperienced up and comers to go through. He could make a great living sorting out the wheat from the chaff for many years to come.

Katsidis is a true warrior; hope that his new trainer teaches him more defense — that’s what is lacking the most.

Katsidis is a great warrior but his best is behind him no trainer or new fight plan is going to change him into a new boxer. So many wars so many hard shots to the head…..

They’re not “world titles”.

might take a fight or 2 for that too sink in Kats could surprise us though ….

Michael is past it. He needs to accept he’s fallen to the level of a gatekeeper.
