Agree Thompson v wilder is a must?

Tony is a BIG dude man, if he wins this, he should fight Wilder.

it just gets worse.

A in shape Solis could win this because the guy does have some skills and a good punch…but Solis being in shape is asking

Posted March 18, 2014 2:38 pm

Sadly, though they are either fat or old doesnt matter at the moment the winner of this will end up in a no#1 contender match, poss against wilder or could even get the winner of stevrne or arreolla

Вуе thе wау this timе solis is in grеаt shаpе.

Posted March 18, 2014 9:20 am

Solis is too fat and Thompson is too old for either one to have much of a future. It may be an even fight and could be a good one to watch but it is still just a payday for both.

Solis by workmanlike decision. Tony is too old and too tentative with a lousy jab. If Solis doesn’t come in shape then maybe Tony has a chance.

Toney will win !
And I would like to see him face wilder After that but I know team wilder will never take Thompson fight ,too risky …

Where does is leave Tony if he wins? I didn’t see Firy or Del Boy wanting any of him! Fury could of drafted him in last year after Haye pulled out. I would be nice to see Tony win a belt before he retires, I met him last year in Liverpool when he was commentating on the Denton Vessel Frankie Gavin fight. A really nice bloke.

The winner puts themselves right in the mix again

Dan D

Solis can box but the guy is so undisciplined with his weight and conditioning.

Öner is right this is an interesting match up. Too bad both of the contestants are way past their best.

Fight Aficionado

Solis to start chomping pieces out of Thompson’s arm by round 3. Tasty drum sticks.

Posted March 18, 2014 1:37 am

Vitali Klitschko knocked Solis out with a right hook to the temple. Solis went down hard, was dizzy, his knee was not hurt until after he went to the canvas. Solis said that Vladimir Klitschko has never fought anyone, that he is fighting better fighters than Vlad has ever fought. LOL! Vladimir has knocked Thompson out two times, so Solis is fighting Vlad’s leftovers……Solis keeps lying like the slime he really is……..

Wilder/Scott fight appeared to be a fixed fight. The crowd booed because they could see that Wilder landed a left hook that was a slap, was an arm punch that had nothing on it. Scott blocked the right hand which did not land. Scott is not a very good actor……….Boxing is become WWE……….

hope tony wins. Any man who enters the ring unfit is a disgrace to themselves and the sport. go tiger!

Harry is English, non-descript looking (probably quite ugly really), wears glasses and needs to brush his teeth.

Posted March 17, 2014 7:38 pm

solis fought vitaly not Wlad.

Posted March 17, 2014 6:47 pm

Oh how nice. Solis is having a Baby !

Posted March 17, 2014 6:27 pm

where are the pics of solis ill bet he shows up fat like he did for vlad have to watch the weigh in on this one if the cuban is not in top shape tony the tiger will KO him i mean just look at him exuding a calm confidence

Posted March 17, 2014 6:20 pm

Hope solis does some jogging and sparring before the match. It could then be interesting. Thompson always tries, even against Wlad.

Posted March 17, 2014 6:09 pm

both wankers.

Kid Blast, think you meant “sebaceous” young man. If you’re going to use long words best to spell them correctly. Solis may be fat but he’s a natural talent. I see him beating Thompson comfortably. Wilder really is the wild card in the division, as long as he hasn’t got a weak chin, it seems he’ll be able to KO just about anyone if he’s in there long enough. With that long reach he’s going to connect at some point. Even Klitschko will be within reach and, as we all know, he has a weak chin. Nobody has been able to take Wilder’s power so far. It would have been interesting to see Shannon Brigg’s with him in his prime as he could take huge shots without getting KO’d.

Tiger to win the stinker.
