LOL @ the article pic. Khan will just keep switching trainers because he likes tasting the canvas.

khan sounds like a little boy.

hype buster

I really, really, really love this picture. Funny as hell! I’d hate to be “a mere con.” :)

Nappyboy…..Khan is not your cup of tea any more then…..Switch to coffee

Wonderful Boxie……Just let me get this right…You and hundreds of others suggested he changed trainers to Hunter, but your infinite wisdom was taken up and acted on by Khan and his team, this is what you refer to him acting on your advice …..Has he thanked you yet…no I guess not….He’d have to thank hundreds…Fine piece of bumming yourself up Boxie….not….

Box, you’re delusional… I posted that Khan needed a new trainer not named Freddie Roach before he ever joined Roach.. Roach can’t teach the skills he lacks.. I’ll bet a hundred people told Khan that, and I’ll bet he never reads ESB posts … And since you’ve never been involved with boxing on any high level yourself, nobody is going to listen to you in a million years… You’re the guy who said Cintron would go the distance with Canelo… Good grief.

Rich-I wrote MY advice HERE and he READ it. That’s HOW.

What an embarrassing Photo… Khan is running like he stole Garcia’s wallet.. Or you might think they’re competing in the 100 meter dash.

khan should become a runner, ran from maidana, ran from prescott, ran from garcia. whats heart when you have no brain left?????

Ouch, embarrassing pic. Khan can still come back and have a successful career. Yes, he has a weak chin, but so does Wladimir Klitschko. Amir needs a trainer who will help him focus on his defense. Hunter may fit the bill.

How sweet Boxy he took your advise, how did your staunch advise reach him,did you e-mail him, write him a cosy letter,or have heart to heart father and son chat over the phone, perhaps you went round and saw him face to face and bequeathed your knowledge to him…….I think it was none of that, more telepathic, where you tuned in to him mentally and their you both were…Mental..and both deluded….

I COMMEND Khan for humbling himself and taking MY advice by dumping Roach and hiring Hunter or a Mayweather for his trainer. He is now on his way to Superstardom.

Pic tells a thousand words.:-)Khan is a bum and always will be.

Fight Aficionado

Hunter will help Khan’s defense and get him to tuck his chin down so it’s not getting whacked like a pivot every single fight. He’ll also teach him to hold when hurt. Hopefully he doesn’t stunt his offense though.

Khan is a pathetic wannabe fighter that blames everyone he can instead of himself. He can go to a thousand trainers, and he won’t get any better. He’s full of himself, and should be ashamed of himself. Freddie knew Khan had no chin. Khan as Jack Nicholson said in one of his famous movies “You can’t handle the truth.” Khan then went running like a little fairy to another trainer. Hunter will handle only because he’s going to make good money, but he knows like all that he has NO chin. As a matter of fact will lose against Molina then we can all be done with egotistical, glass chinned, blame everyone but himself punk!!!!

Nggas aint sht

Khan probably wants hunter to supervises 24/7 so he can takes all his attempts to applied by force acting against WARD.

It may take some time before Hunter’s training will take affect with Khan. He shouldn’t be rushed into anything for his own good. I believe that Khan has the skills but not the technique. Also, he needs to control himself and not get too emotional or aggressive. Give both Hunter and Khan a chance.

I would have thought it would take at least a year before Hunter can work his magic, if any, on Khan. In the meantime I think it would be to Khan’s advantage if he’s very wary of taking a big punch maybe then he’ll box properly – something he hasn’t done since the Kotelnik fight. You never know Mr Hunter might be able to get the kid to shut his mouth – well we can always hope!

Marquis of Queensdingleberry

deja vu. khan is following audley harrisons script.

Posted September 29, 2012 6:23 pm

I disagree. I think Kahn could easily be a champion again. He just needs to use his advantages/strengths — quick feet and hands — more consistently. But most importantly, he needs to learn when his opponent is timing him and change up his attack.

The Mad Scientist

That’s a really cute picture of Con, hopefully his next opponent can train him to do that again..never get bored of watching that..

The Prince

lol @ the photo.

Khan has reach his top! 3 loses 2 of them a KO! I said he can try but he ain’t going to achieve what Freddy did for him. after that loss Like the saying goes, its all down hill from here!

Posted September 29, 2012 4:32 pm

Regardless of how far Kahn goes in the sport, one thing is for certain. It sure is fun to watch him try to achieve — as Amir is almost always in an action fight. For that, we boxing fans should appreciate “King” Kahn.

Khan will be champ again!

Posted September 29, 2012 4:20 pm

Glass jaw will fail you going to the top!

Posted September 29, 2012 4:18 pm

Yes, Khan needs a chin, and Hunter cannot give it to him. I expect no changes in Khan.

Posted September 29, 2012 3:08 pm

muggsy bogues

back on top of what?

Posted September 29, 2012 2:52 pm

Maybe Khan can gain something from Hunter, but the most likely result will be no change. Khan just isn’t, and hasn’t been, quite as good as billed. He simply can’t take the big shot.
