Big head, I guess now it doesn’t matter about Sillakh.

The Roar, that would be interesting but IMO, keep your money in your pocket where it’s safe if that’s how you feel and you’re a betting man.

I see what you’re saying now. Sorry I misunderstood. He’s a good fighter. I wasn’t really ever into anything about Sillakh but I know he’s talented. And any time two fighters step in the ring there is a chance of anything happening for either guy. I’ve seen alot of people speak highly of Sillakh in these forums. It wouldn’t be the first time. People did that with Klitschko when he lost to Corrie Sanders.

The Roar

Sillakh to win. Kovalev is an overrated slugger and no more. Someone outbox this clown and we’ll hear no more.

big head

some of yall on this site was high on sillakh at one point before he lost i wont say everybody was high on him but some of yall was when he lost yall hop off the bandwagon some of yall did if he lose tonight im sure some of yall really going to hop off his bandwagon completly if he competive or he some how wins yall will jump back on board iif sillakh gets hit and he responds well to it and come back with his punches that a good sign if he get hit and he dont respond well to it then that not a good sign at all if kovalev sense you hurt he going to finish you off he a good finisher

big head

i know he lost im saying is if he beat grachev like he was suppose to do and he still underfeated would yall gave him a better chance to win that all im saying what carl froch and ward got to do with what im saying some people aint giving him no shot cause of the lost to grachev but since sillakh fought nothing tune up fights now he fighting one of the best light heavy weights either way im sticking with kovalev to win but i give silllakh a chance tho then most people if he get blow out the water then i was wrong that can very well happen but if sillakh shows up ready and hungry i think he can do well in this fight

Posted November 30, 2013 9:08 pm

Kovalev please don’t kill anyone else !!

Ja tjo

This fight card is obviously being done to set up a Kovalev-Stevenson fight.

Just don’t disappoint us, and get down to hard negotiations. Don’t go calling out Hopkins because he isn’t interested.

Posted November 30, 2013 5:39 pm

Sillakh will last as long as he can run faster. Once Kovalev cuts off te ring and starts pumping the hurt; Sillakh will free up and the ref will wave it off. Sillakh much like Bute against Froch, didn’t seem like he knew what to do once he was hurt by Grachev. He stopped thinking froze up and didn’t know how to defend himself. If he hasn’t fixed that, it will for sure happen tonight, only quicker.

Kovalev beats this guy 7nights a week lol,

Kovalev to win by stoppage around the 7 or 8 round mark.

“I get the feeling that Stevenson’s people will avoid Kovalev if they can find any lucrative and viable alternatives. That’s what’s behind their demands that the ‘money be right’.” – Cosign. If he surprises me I’ll give him props, but I’m presuming Adonis and Bhop duck Kovalev till the end. Just like the GGG situation with Martinez. Then gullible fans and haters will say Kovalev never fought anyone since the entire division is ducking him.

Big head, he did lose though. Why would you wonder that? That’s like saying I wonder if Froch didn’t lose to Ward what would….

talking of balls Anonymous,i,m still on ebay trying to purchase you a pair

big head

i wonder if sillakh havent lost to grachev and got stopped would some people be giving him a chance in this fight but since he lost and his chin got exposed a lil some people aint giving him no shot some people know that grachev lost was a fluke if they was to fight again everytime sillakh would win just a few years ago alot of people was high on sillakh i wont say alot but some was while kovalev should be a big favorite i think sillakh is being kinda slept on in this fight slilakh chin always been a questions mark even before he got stopped but that one fight he got stopped so maybe his chin aint that bad as it seems that the thing with kovalev he just dont go for the face he go to the body as well he breaks his fighters down but if the best sillakh shows up i think he give kovalev a hell of a fight even know i give sillakh a chance more then most people giving him it hard to go against kovalev tho we see

Kovalev by ko

Von Pugsly

I get the feeling that Stevenson’s people will avoid Kovalev if they can find any lucrative and viable alternatives. That’s what’s behind their demands that the ‘money be right’. If they can make an equivalent pile fighting Bute or JC Chavez Jr. or anybody at all they’ll take that over the danger that Kovalev represents. Kind of sad because HBO and the public clearly want the winners of these matches to fight each other for LHW supremacy (Popkins is the odd man out over on Showtime/GBP). The winner of Kovalev-Stevenson, assuming they win tonight, would make an excellent opponent for Andre Ward when he steps up to 175 (given that there’s no more comp for him at SMW other than Groves and/or JC Chavez Jr. if the latter gets past Vera in the rematch).

If Sillakh couldn’t take Grachev’s punches, he has no chance of taking Kovalev’s. Even though I think Kovalev might do well to get some rounds under his belt, and it would be interesting to see his chin and stamina tested, I expect him to make short work of it.

This is an easy going to pick. Kovalev will win by ko. He is more than just a puncher, he can box too. Give us Kovalev vs Stevens next.

Posted November 30, 2013 12:38 pm

Even though Ismayl is sort of chinny i have him by UD..that’s if he boxes. If he trades with Kovalev its over.

Kovalev is nice to watch. Sweet science along with brutal ko power. Future is his.

Posted November 30, 2013 6:40 am

cleverly never had the balls to fight a challenger as good as sillakh.thank goodness kovalev is not scared to figfht real competion !!!

Posted November 30, 2013 3:22 am

big ham

Ismayl Sillakh was never regarded as a big puncher. More so he is an athletically gifted fighter. Speedy. I see this being a favorable matchup for Kovalev. Ismayl Sillakh i do beleive is chinny, he needs to fight a perfect fight to win. Krusher just needs to continue to apply pressure for 12 rounds and he will eventually wear down and catch Ismayl Sillakh with something big. I am no boxtradamus but i see a KO by 8 for Kovalev.

“Just from that picture you can tell there is not a grain of doubt in Kovalev.” – Yup. Some undefeated fighters have a swagger, especially punchers. Kovalev has it.

Posted November 30, 2013 12:38 am

Ismayel was supposed to be the next best light heavy, was supposed to beat Dawson , now not so sure. I’ll take Kovalev in this one.

Posted November 29, 2013 10:49 pm

Bellew was put in there to be beat. These are not fights but muggings. If Kovalev and Stevenson meet it will be a fight.

Kovalev obv. Too technically solid. Both are good boxer/punchers but Kovalev’s punch is way bigger and his chin is solid. Bet the house on it.
