Fight Aficionado

LOL at Thurman’s mad dog act. He’s trying too hard to be a tough guy. Still, he did his job and notched a nice win.

Man!! I thought that Thurman was another hype-up fighter boy did he prove me wrong, he just won another fan.

Big Al

It’s a hair-off between these two!

Thurman looks like real “Road rage” type of guy. He is favored I think but Chaves is kind of a mystery, he does have good ko ratio though.

know* but mainly in the Thurman bout because we don’t know how legit Chaves is. I don’t see Soto beating Berto period.. but we will see.

Hello Q. CORRECTAMUNDO. Who’s it going to be And how? I see one of your fans are posting separate picks picking each is a winner.

Hello real Boxtradamus.

Posted July 27, 2013 8:00 pm

NICE try faker. Last week I picked Berto by decision where he busts up Jesus but Jesus keeps coming forward showing heart. I stick with that.

We will knew a lot about the bouts after the first rounds (assuming they both get past the first round). I could also see Berto Vs. Soto going the distance.

KOrnerman: He stands a CHANCE, but… his record and power haven’t been legitimized yet, and he’s been hurt and put on the canvas before by a far and clearly lesser puncher than Thurman. This is a good test for Thurman against a guy that clearly can punch. Thurman has some defensive glitches, so I assume his chin will be checked tonight, but I’ll give him the edge… big puncher, not heavy on his feet and long.

The key here for me will possibly mainly be Thurman’s ability to take a punch… I think he’ll get hit with a right hand or more which is Chaves ..I think they both can go to the body well. It could be interesting, but I honestly like Correctamundo’s picks over Boxtradamus, and I’m sure Corretamundo is the original. He’s Mr. Skills over everything, and he wouldn’t go both times with the lesser skilled fighters. Thurman squares with the left low like he does at times and he’ll probably end up on the ground.

My thoughts on Thurman-Chaves barring the invariables (can Thurman take a big punch if needed being the main one) is that They are both powerful punchers, but Thurman has much better movement, sooo, if his chin holds up, I don’t see Chaves beating him.

Chaves has stopped many guys and seems to be a devastating puncher, but then you have to look deeper into that (although that power definitely looks like it can translate, we have to consider a few things)

1. 99.99% of the opponents of Chaves have other stoppage loses and most KO losses, not just TKO’s and RTD’s.

2. He’s went a full fight with a guy who had been ko’d before and after, and all his full fights have been against guys who’d been stopped before (including a 12 rounder – howeVER that guy Weis, also went a full fight with Judah – HOWEVER he went 10 with Zab and was put down, but he went 12 with Chaves in his final bout and put Chaves down in the 6th.. and Weis only has 17 stops in over 50 bouts) Chaves got legitimately hurt by an uppercut from Weis and fell from a delay a few punches later. He stayed at his knees about 8 seconds to regroup.

3. Thurman has been in with the better competition

4. I think Thurm is a bit straight up, and lazy and low with his left, which can hurt him, but Chaves also stands upright a nice bit and his arms a clearly shorter.

All in all, I assume Thurman will win this bout.

there can be only one greatest (albiet false) prophet of all time, Boxtradamus vs Correctomundo, let battle commence, I predict Boxtra by 4 rnd TKO lol

Although there can be no winners in this silly game.

Correctamundo Vs. Boxtradamus – loser begins to use winners name. Lol. bobos.

Posted July 27, 2013 5:20 pm

hhhmm sounds interesting match then.

Posted July 27, 2013 4:28 pm

Thurman is gonna have a hard time with Chavez. Thurman is gonna have to box more then trade with Chavez. Chavez can take good hard punches, great chin. I haven’t seen Thurman getting cought with a good hard punch. Chavez is gonna test Thurman’s chin and heart tonight. I say Thurman will take it but he’s gonna have to show a lot of heart and be smart.

All these Argentine boxers are using HGH thats why they can punch like mules

Posted July 27, 2013 3:18 pm

I haven’t seen enough of Chavez, can anyone tell me if he stands a good chance?

Posted July 27, 2013 9:54 am

andre berto

Posted July 27, 2013 8:28 am

Thurman by stoppage TOO. I am CORRECT yet again

Posted July 26, 2013 10:44 pm

Berto by stoppage.

Posted July 26, 2013 10:44 pm

Which one is it Berto or Soto? The GREATEST picks one outcome and STICKS with it and in the RARE time is wrong they eat the CROW.

I AM the most CORRECT and accurate prophet of all ages. I predict Soto will win, others have taken up my old name and have misused it. You will see which one is the most correct prophet of all ages. Imitation or not I will always bring them down to pea size with my predictions as I AM always CORRECT.

Motivator- that’s too funny, hahahaha…

Posted July 26, 2013 10:25 pm

I’ll take Berto by stoppage. Soto-Karass’s Defense is even LESSER than Berto’s. And his firepower is LESSER TOO.

Posted July 26, 2013 9:26 pm

he oughtta be staring at his hairdresser like that !

Posted July 26, 2013 9:02 pm

I wasn’t impressed with Thurman in his last fight. I wasn’t impressed with Diego in his last fight either. However, they both have nice hair. :)

Posted July 26, 2013 7:49 pm

That look right there has me looking forward to that fight

Posted July 26, 2013 6:24 pm

Posted July 26, 2013 6:23 pm
