eh!!?? we don’t have same day weigh-ins mate. Have you had your head buried in the sand because it’s the norm for boxers to put on weight when they rehydrate you plonker. I hope you’re taking the piss, have a look at the post fight stats of any fight. By the way who said anything about Broner, you got a boner for Broner?

He only left the super-featherweight division so he could aviod Broner; So the idea he is so huge at lightweight is dead wrong …… if he was this huge he would of never made super-featherweight.

Burns is abnormal- he weighs in an easy welterweight nearly light middle come fight night; about 150lbs. He did look huge against Katsides then Moses.
I have Burns winning this even by late KO. We all know the extra in reach and height but the question is; Mitchell has never fought anyone at this level for at least 12 long hard rounds. As some of you may recollect only 15 months ago Burns TKO Mitchell in sparring for his fight against Murray when Jimmy Tibbs had to step in and call it a day after about 5 rounds.
Mitchell will gas out after 10 rounds and Burns TKO in 11.

Wrong Mitchell moved up years before Ricky and crushed Murray.

correction …. they have both moved up ….. but there is no major size difference at all. This isnt the heavyweight were there can be a 50-lb diffetrence in weight. The article is just clithe’ after clithe’ and clithe’..

I dont think the author knows what he is talking about: 1.Burns is only 2-inches taller (which is nothing). 2.Mitchell may be smaller in height but is naturally the bigger man (since Burns is the one coming up from super-featherweight). 3. Their weight, come fight night, will pretty much be the same. Also, saying that Burns has fought anyone “good apart from Ramon Martinez” is just ill-educated noncense ……… anyone who at even domestic level (or even lower) can be considered “good” ….. and has the author forgot Katsidis. The author should stick to sports he has knowledge on …. and boxing isnt that!

There is not a huge size difference. The author is making far too much of it. I think Burns will win but anyone thinking it is an easy fight for him are dead-wrong.

wrong, they both moved up to lightweight from super feather around the same time, and Burns has looked better than Mitchell at this weight,by far.

Mitchell’s the one who’s been fighting at higher weights.

Burns vs. Mitchell: Ricky’s size should be enough for him to easily win this
