I can go get a belt that says champion. Doesn’t make me one though

Hidalgo, I think you’re right bro. That sucks.

If Jr didn’t have his fathers name he’d be nowhere. Vera is another fighter served to make Chavez look better than he really is.

BTW, Vera has been fighting very well lately, but Chavez is going to beat him down.

“Anybody else holding a belt is just a titlest” LOL. Ok Peej. Please get your hammer and chisel and remove the word “Champion” from the belts of the “titlests.”

why does rubio not want a rematch with chavez jr for the middleweight title this photo says it all

Hopkins was the Champion who was beat by Talor who was beat by Pavlik who was beat by Martinez. All the belts where unified but unfortunately were stripped. Something that can’t happen if you are the Ring Champion.

Sorry you are wrong. Martinez won the Lineal Championship from Pavlik. Anybody else holding a belt is just a titlest

“Chavez was never champ. He was only a titlest. Martinez is the champ at 160”

Peej, this is incorrect. Martinez isn’t even recognized as a Super Champion. However, Martinez IS one of the champs at 160. Martinez holds two titles so he’s a unified champion. But there’s three other major belts out there, each held by a different guy.

Rosado isn’t his own weight. Rosado is really a 154. Vera is normally a 160. I would much rather see him fight a real contender though

I like Vera. I hope he can somehow pull this off. Gonna be a slobber knocker, this fight!

Prof Konje

To call Chavez Jr. “champ” is an insult to every boxer who earned that title in the ring. His title was given to him by his godfather of the WBC. Too bad that he may not stay at 160 (as if he ever was 160) because I would like to see him face GGG for a really good beating but that won’t happen. But there are lots of guys at 175 which is his true weight that will give him the beating that he deserves. Is it clear that I don’t like him????

chAVEZ jr

Public Enemy

Chavez Jr. will come in at his usual 182+lbs so it really won’t be an issue for him against this shot smaller fighter…

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. The Lion King of Beat Street)

Looks like Chavez Jr. can no longer make weight at 160lbs and is stepping up to 168lbs. No surprises here. He really doesn’t want to fight 3G, so this could be a good move for him. I’d like to see Jr. fight both Froch and Ward.
