TKO BOXING Promotions Letter to the Boxing Community

TKO Boxing Promotions was founded two years ago. Between then and now we have signed some wonderful fighters, done forty six shows and crisscrossed the United States trying to build the fighters and the company. Unfortunately, we ran into some financial problems that have set us back considerably, hurt our relationships with many fighters and their managers and derailed many of our plans. We also let a lot of people down and for that I am very sorry..

But we are in the fight business, and even though we have been knocked down early in the fight, we are getting back up. TKO has recapitalized so that it can go forward on stronger footing. We are in the process of clearing all of our debts, reconfirming the strength of some of our relationships, sadly restructuring those of the others, but we are moving forward.

We are not quitting on the stool. The hope is that those of you who have been our friends, fans and supporters will remain so. And those of you who had your doubts will give us a second chance. TKO is doing a show this Saturday at the Sovereign Bank Stadium featuring York’s hometown hero, Carney Bowman (14-0). The show will also feature undefeated prospects Terence Crawford (11-0) and J’Leon Love (5-0), cruiserweight Andres Taylor (15-1), the pro debut of the sensational Alantez Fox and three more professional fights and five amateur fights. It will be a great show at the ballpark.

In the coming days we will be announcing some new signings, some very big fights for some of our fighters and will unveil our new website. I know that it is very hard for people to forget, hopefully people will forgive. It is a terrific sport that we are a part of and we are committed to making sure that we remain a part of it, to making up for our past mistakes and to doing the best work that we can to develop and promote our fighters.

Sincerely,

Chet Koerner
President, TKO Boxing Promotions
