testingPosted January 1, 2013 6:24 pm
This article is garbage and shows no respect whatsoever to Rees who is a former world champion. Not every fighter can be as good as Floyd Mayweather but that doesn’t mean that they are bums!!
Gavin Rees Will WIN thisPosted December 30, 2012 1:02 pm
broner’s a f@g.Posted December 29, 2012 5:26 pm
Gavin Rees does not have the same skillset as Broner appears to possess, but he has heart, is a former champion at Super Lightweight, is as tough as teak and will do his level best to make The Problem work for his win. Broner needs to be tested by someone who doesn’t just stand in front of him. If The Rock can take this past 6 it will be interesting as he gets tougher the longer it goes…..Against this is his lack of height and reach and willingness to get stuck in….
I personally am not impressed with The Problem. He doesn’t move his head or his feet… A boxer with sound fundamentals will test him more than these come forward types….
On paper he should beat Ricky Burns, but if Ricky boxes behind his jab and mixes his up with flurries and good lateral movement he could find the solution to The Problem.Posted December 29, 2012 1:23 pm

well this happened a few weeks ago and it was even worse but they all kissed amir khans ass regardless of that farce especially against a guy who was a super safe bet and looked a good 2-3 stone lighter!!!… at least rees is a better fighter than that molina guy. I wanted the Broner Vs Burns fight but i dont know what happened there. one min it was burns asking for too much, next it was he wanted a tune up before as his fight was cancelled last time last min so needed some rounds. The next i hear he gave up his previous belt at the weight so he didnt have to fight broner as a mandatory…. then its broner is ducking burns according to frank warren who lets face it isnt exactly someone to rely on for the truth… i dont care about the details i just want the fight to happen as it would be a good one whoever won lets just hope this is broner’s tune up and burns gets his out of the way too.
End of the day it should happen, just maybe a lil longer than we thought so this isnt that bad compared to some of the fights they are trying to sell us into believing are by any means equalPosted December 29, 2012 9:40 am
Rees is a good fighter, but i will be very very very surprised if Rees sees the third round. Broner spars with fighters that are levels above Rees…….Posted December 29, 2012 9:28 am
HBO is going to sell the hell out of Broner in this fight. That is why it was made. They want him to be the next PBF but he isn’t. If you watch his fights…he gets hit…have very good speed, but still get hit way more then Floyd did. Broner is good, but no PBF..Posted December 29, 2012 8:58 am
It’s not a complete missmatch Rees is a top ten Lightweight, Broner is just that special that he’ll make it look easy.Posted December 29, 2012 6:02 am
Why bring Burns into it? Surely burns has earned the right to fight baronet, and dare I say it has a better record than briner in the last 2 years?Posted December 29, 2012 5:19 am
