It’s not the fact that it’s 4 lbs, it’s the fact that if he’s 4 lbs under, he probably didn’t need to dehydrate to make weight (why would someone dehydrate to well below the limit?), whereas when a guy comes in on the limit, he’s likely to have dehydrated down to it. So Pac could come into the ring at 157 whereas Marquez will be coming in at around what he weighed. I’m not saying that’s going to be the case, but it could be.

Quit making a big deal about 4 pounds, it does not mean anything. If a guy put on 4 pounds of lard do you think it would help him?

Old Yank…..Yes I’m afraid thats what you definitely are,a very old Yank if you consider Pacq is SOFT…You are also deluded and bemused when you lamentable say…..Marquez won them all……..Time for you and your veterans afternoon nap grandpa…….

third world

jmm coming in light at 143 is no disadvantage.he will out hustle the hustler and finally get the win he deserved in the last installment .manny has always come in at 143, 144 and now we shall see marquez vs. pacquiao 5.just like la motta – robinson.

Old Yank

Pac is 147 because he’s SOFT! Pacquaio is no more a natural welterweight than I am a natural Chippendale’s dancer! Marquez is going to stop Pacquaio and prove what most veteran opbservers have seen over their 3 previous bouts — Marquez won them all.
