Gary Cornish could well be a contender @ British, EBU & Commonwealth level in a couple of years if he’s handled correctly. I can’t see him fighting for the Scottish title right now due to lack of compitition so, how about matching him with Martin Rogan or Dorian Darch for the vacant Celtic title? It would also be nice to see him fight outside od Scotland once in a while as well, perticually on a few low key undercards in Europe or the USA.

I had Murray winning by 2 against sturm. I gave Sturm all the close rounds too. I think number 1 in the UK is between Saunders and Murray. But i dont think Murray would be able to fight at the pace BJ would set. Same goes for Barker. Hes a smooth BOXER, BJ would make him FIGHT

B.J Saunders would box circles around the lot of these names and hes still work in progress and is for sure the next middleweight star for the U.K, Murray is fringe at best he was lucky to get draw vs Sturm I had Sturm winning by at least three rounds.

Andy Lee was born in London. Bow if im not mistaken. His parents are Irish. If Froch (born to polish parents) can fight for a british or comonwealth title, Lee should be alowed. I just dont think lee is interested

Daly Jr: Agreed regarding Hope, but he is in the equation unlike Lee who’s Irish & therefore no threat to Saunders British & Commonwealth titles. “The British champion should be #1 in the UK”!

Mick i dont realy think Hope comes into the equation. Hes a decent test for Barker coming back, but the only thing hes done is beat the crude Proksa, in what was the worst performance ive seen from proksa. Its Murray, Sunders, and Barker the top 3 for me. Lee and Macklin cant realy be considered in there because they are based in the US nowadays.

Unfortunatly until Murray, Macklin, B.J.Saunders, Hope & Barker fight a round robin we’re never gonna find out who’s #1 @ 160Lb in the UK. At least Barker & Hope have started the ball rolling.

Im a Murray fan too, i thinks hes top 2, if not the best MW in the country. But Golovkin is a beast. Hes fundimentaly perfect, with beast power. Hes like Kostya Tsyu with iron fists lol. Very accurate aswell, great balance… The list goes on

No-one is saying he is Proksa. Im a murray fan, but Golovkin is indeed ‘all that’.

Martin is no Proksa, no way does he get Ko’d in this fight, Golovkin aint all that.

This is bad news for Murray. Yes hes got the ‘title’ shot he wanted, nut if he wins this interim crap, Golovkin will be waiting for him!!!
