christobal should have practiced tying his opponent up.Then again Stiverne may just have been too strong.

Flash knock down

Get use to seeing a lot more men hugging now that Michael Sam’s is in the NFL. Arreola did what he does the end started in the first round when Bermane caught Arreola with a hook close to the end of the round and yes that body shot backed Arrrola up lol. When you commit to slug you can’t strat backing up which Arreola did and Bermane saw and just waited his time. Great match up .

Arreola is a one dimensional fighter NOT GOOD IN ANY WEIGHT CLASS. He plods straight ahead, no lateral movement no bobbing/weaving, no pivoting, no sliding, JUST, HEAD FIRST with lots of energy… The thing that Arreola doesn’t know is that The Sweet Science is a mental game more than a physical game. Look at the way ALI beat Foreman, Sugar Ray Leonard beat Duran and Buster Douglas beat Tyson they used their heads had a game plan then executed it.Arrelo0a plods head first , has a lot of energy BUT nothing else, ALL one Dimensional .. If he stays in the game he’s doomed… His style has too many flaws ..and at his age, and being in the battles he’s been in he is incapable of changing now in his point in his career …” The Language of the Ring “

Stiverne fought a good fight. Even though Arreola was controlling most of the fight, you could tell it was just a matter of time before Stiverne connected with something. The body shots he caught Arreola with made him backup, and made him think twice about coming in. Stiverne looked a little flustered but he kept calm and cool and took out his opponent when he had to. Props for Stiverne.

Props to ESPN as well for televising this fight. It was a much better fight than what I am used to seeing on Premium channels.

Yah you could see the Haitian looking for the counter punch the whole time, was just a mtter of time. Arreola his own worst enemy.
