s DOES talk a load of old garbage, doesn’t he?

I expect the fight to live up to its billing.

“The Fight of the nanosecond.”

We all expected more from Solis. He may still excell?

Couple of cheeseburgers

Solis is the most talented heavyweight that I have seen in years. He was actually punching Vitali around in the first round before the knee incident. Only Solis knows what caused the knee injury, that is if it was from a punch or just a plain bad luck, but the fact is he was hitting Vitali with ease before the knee thing happened. I think that if he was in shape and at the right weight that he could have won that fight. He has ignored his obvious talent. Perhaps he just does not want to be a boxer. Who knows?

Fight Aficionado – because thats his only fighter , a few years back he started to build a bit of a stable and make a name for himself then doing things like ringing the bell early when your fighters taking a pasting, sending whores to opponents dressing room the night before the fight and getting shot tends to turn away people. solis looks in shape !!!

“Why is Oner always pictured with Solis? I understand he’s his manager or whatever but in very single picture. It’s creepy.” – Vanity. Oner wants to be recognized. He’s a douchebag.

the ottomans got fu**ed big time by the russians :-) Oener is some unbearable pathetic clown. Show your fighter, that you can loose some flubber yourself. that would be impressive.

Mr T

This ain’t gonna be a good fight, world’s craziest fools! Solis ain’t no good, only good at the buffet table! Big Russian guy Vitali knocked him out in 1 round! I woulda done a whole lot better agianst Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, y’all! ME and DRAGO! I woulda beaten the bum!TonyThompson, he too old and he ain’t no good either…Rocky Balbao, Apollo Creed and me would have wiped em out in the ol days! We got no good heavyweights in the US now! Dang!!

Solis is always lying about getting knocked out. Vitali landed a right hook on his temple, Solis went down, was dizzy, also hurt his knee, but he hurt his knee only after he went down. Vitali would have knocked Solis out no matter what………..

say what

After this fight Solis can join Sam Peter in the, what could of been if I hadn’t been so lazy club.

Thompson by late KO!

Dunno why people are so keen to post about fights they’re not interested in… GTFOH and go post on the next Mayweather or Pacquiao article.

As for the fight, it should be decent scrap.
I don’t expect fireworks, but Solis should pull a fairly convincing decision out of it.
As always, Solis’ weight will be a point of interest. I for one actually think he is better off being somewhat heavy, just not to the point he lets himself get to. Around 230-235 is probably a good weight for him… 240 at the very most.
If he comes in lighter (or worse, at his amateur 200 weight), then he risks getting pushed around too much given his “forward” style.

Solis very well may have wasted his talent, but no one knows for certain he would have been the ruler today anyway. Only until Dec 15 2013 was there a titlist he MIGHT have beaten had he been healthy.

Now, there will be 3 potential titlists he can beat. And to his credit, he WILL beat Wilder, Stiverne, Arreola, and or the fake WBA titlist.

Solis was Knocked senseless by a Vitali range finder. Makes excuses about a knee injury. Eats and eats and eats. Waste of talent.

@Another sad day…Solis didn’t get Ko’d in that fight his knee went out.

Another Sad day for Pacturds

Cuban pro fighters are overrated

Another Sad day for Pacturds

Wasn’t this the same guy that was supposed to beat Vitali. Then after he got ko. Everbody thought he took a dive.

look foreward to another hw wrestling match.

Posted March 19, 2014 3:48 pm

This won’t be epic… This will be an aged softie and a fattie slogging around the ring shadow boxing each other.

Lots of posing… Lots of grabbing… not much action.

A little like the Pulev fight. Neither Pulev or Thompson seemed interested in working and KP did enough to win an easy D before Tony removed his shorts in the ring to adjust his underwear… You generally wait until you reach the dressing room to do that, but TT probably thought he hadn’t done anything during the fight so he needed to put on a show of some kind.

The Glazkov-Adamek fight was actually very good… We need more fights like that — where both athletes are actually trained and ready to fight hard for 12 rounds.

Think this will be intresting. Solis hasnt really seemed bothered in his recent fight so a step up will see if is hunger is still there, no pun intended.

Fight Aficionado

1. Solis is wearing a thick winter jacket to hide his blubber. 2. Ahmet Oner always includes a pic of himself in press releases. Vanity knows no bounds.

I like Thompson, who is a decent guy and who is willing to fight the best, usually on the road, but I don’t know how much is left in the tank at his advanced age. As for Solis, it is good to see him back in the ring. I hope he stays active.

Slim Whitman

chitownfight, I would LOVE to see Solis v Arreola or Stiverne ! Great idea

Posted March 19, 2014 12:15 pm

This is a great fight for Solis……he needs this win to push him up the WBC rankings again, and maybe a fight with Charr in the summer will seal the deal on his title shot. He shouldnt go for Wladimir, but he would easily outbox Arreola or Stiverne and he would KTFO Deontay “toothpick legs” Windmiller.
