Proud African

I expect Pascal to win this one, most likely by out-boxing Bute.

Swedish Boxing Fan

Jean Pascal (31-3-1 KO’s 17) is not shot at all as he is in his physical prime years but he will never become a huge star in boxing now. Pascal is a tought boxer and haves heart and is popular in canada and can become a world light heavyweight champion again I belive BUT he just don’t have that extra to be a dominant champion and with that a super star.

He have only fought 2 fights sence May 2011 when he lost his world title to Bernard Hopkins and not against any top name either if I say so, so why so inactive when in his prime years?

Lineal/WBC champ Adonis Stevenson is to tough for Pascal, IBF champ Bernard Hopkins have already twice proven him over Pascal so those two we have left is WBO champ Sergey Kovalev and WBA/IBA champ Beibut Shumenov so the chanse is there for Jean Pascal and I would like to see him fight against them.

Bute has no chin. It was the ropes holding him up a few times (remember Andrade?). He never recovered from the beating that Froch gave him. The ref may not be able to save him tonight because both guys are Canadian. Actually, neither guy is going anyplace because of too much good competition in the 175 class.

“In England with Carl Froch, I got hit a lot and I never went down.”

Ha. Not much of a boast considering that it was only the ropes holding him up.
