Dan D – I just watched that fight and if Rob was not a mandatory defense I’d say he has no business being in the same ring with Floyd.

PE- Pacquioa is to small for Cotto if they fought @ 154!…I saw the fight Cotto ain’t weak or slow…he just ate a lot of punches…

Salido beat Guerrero so Mayweather is gonna walk this fight

Posted May 2, 2013 4:01 pm

why the uproar or disdain over what Ruben Guerrero said about May’s document women=beating issues. Mayweather said the same thing about Corrales…that he was dedicating that fight to all battered women. hahahaha. Don’t go into the kitchen if you cant’ stand the heat…mind games and verbal assaults..if you’re not man enough to handle them you’re in the wrong’s not going to tip the fight either way. Either Guerrero is skilled enough to overwhelm May’s defensive and counterpunching skills or he isn’t. We’ll see on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

THE ghost dad would of been ko’d if he fought floyd sr. funny stuff though

Posted May 2, 2013 3:40 pm

actaully bob arum did! He was promoted by good old bob at that time! plus he needed the paycheck!

Posted May 2, 2013 3:04 pm

Pacquiao made Cotto look like a nob. Cotto looked confused, like what the hell just hit me, why am I on the floor seeing stars, which Pacquiao do I hit? But he did hit Pacquiao like 7 times in 12 rounds so I guess that’s what makes this haters think Cotto gave Pacquiao a beating. Nobody forced Cotto to fight Pacquiao so why complain about the weight, blame Cotto for that.

Posted May 2, 2013 2:56 pm

cotto kills pac at 154 or even 147 no catch weight!

Posted May 2, 2013 2:47 pm

Public Enemy

everyone knows Paquiao and Roach starved Cotto, and even a starved Cotto put a nice couple of lumps on Paquiao who looked like the Mummy post fight bandaged up with a busted Eardrum..

Posted May 2, 2013 2:41 pm

Those were Cotto’s words not mine. He should know

Posted May 2, 2013 2:14 pm

Prior to fighting Pacman Cotto was ONE POUND heavier five months earlier when facing Clottey. ONE POUND – weight drained I think not.

Posted May 2, 2013 2:09 pm

He only destroyed Cotto cause he made Cotto lose alot of weight to fight him at a catch weight. When Cotto ask Pac to fight him at 154 no catch weight pac declined! Pac loves to fight these guys a catch weight so they will be drained fight night! See Dela hoya, Margarita, cotto! Im surprise he did ask floyd to fight him at a catch weight at least not yet

Shame Floyd never fought Manny when Pacman was at his peak a few years ago. I always fancied Pacquiao to win a dominant 12 round decision. Mayweather was definitely reluctant to face him after the way he destroyed Hatton and Cotto…we will never find out now though. Still, Pacman was the fighter of the decade, 2000-2010.

Afraid of a 5’2 midget who got knock out his last fight? The same midget that turned down 40 million and random drug testing? You sound like bob arum!

Posted May 2, 2013 1:18 pm

Your Daddy

Mayweather is vastly overrated mostly by himself and his band of yes men. He’s like a wolf he picks on the weakest of the herd and claims he’s the greatest of all time…He wouldn’t last 2 rounds with Hearns, Leonard, Duran. He’s lucky Mosley was old and broke , and it’s obvious he’s afraid of Pacquiao….Guerrero is a safe fight a B level opponent he’s only there because Lucia Rijker turned Mayweather down.

Ruben Guerrero: I don’t talk s__t man, I back it up. I back it up baby, anytime, anywhere, like I said and we’re going to beat-up that woman beater, the one who beat up his wife, man . . . his wife in front of his kids, you guys like that s__t? You like this guy? A woman beater? He must have learned that from his dad. Woman beater baby, we’re going to beat that woman beater. See how he’s going to like it, he’s going to get it from a real man. We’re going to beat that woman beater down! You guys hear me what I said baby!

te tumbo

no post or series of posts submitted by me could’ve ever captured or conveyed PE’s utter imbecility on these threads. nobody does that better or more effectively than PE himself . . . gracias, pendejo.

te tumbo

i enjoy watching PE make a public spectacle of himself in front of an international audience. a demonstration of his delirium and sustained public meltdown all in the name of PR pride(?). “We are great. We are free. We are wonderful. We are the most wonderful people in all the jungle! We all say so, and so it must be true”. this baboon has provided enough rope to hang himself along with an entire territorial island. “congratulations” . . . (lol).

So Dumbo – Smaller worn Cotto went the distance with Floyd giving Floyd his toughest match yet.. Mayweathers own words.. so anything less then this from your Mexican Chihuahua would mean Ricans did better vs Floyd then Mexicans…

Even Tumbo won’t support his fellow Chihuahua.. So much for Mexican Loyalty… LOL

Mayweather displaying the same versatility on stage that he executes in a boxing ring. Guerrero assumes the role of villian and Maywweather effortlessly shifts into consummate professional mode. you simply can’t contain or corner Mayweather unLess he’s slipping. that is the minor miracle that will need to take place or Guerrero to shock the Boxing world with an upset of Mayweather. otherwise, Floyd may put on a clinic in boxing-punching versatility and execution. untile he’s actually defeated, Mayweather remains #1 P4P in the sport.

Even Tumbo agrees the Mexican will get his ASS Whoooped Pimp style this weekend…

I say it will be another Floyd classic fight!…. It will be boring!!!

Posted May 2, 2013 10:04 am

Guerrero beats him but judges save Floyd for 2nd time

Posted May 2, 2013 9:41 am

guerroro will be game but just too much mayweather! skills pay bills!

Posted May 2, 2013 8:16 am

I think Floyd is in for the fight of his life like Castillo #1, maybe just scrape through it a close winner.

Posted May 2, 2013 4:55 am

I take it your one of Money’s cheerleaders, most of us normal folks will watch it on Boxnation as part of our monthly subscription, and I tune in to watch the two combatants not just to drool over one guy that’s a bit g*y,ye know.

Posted May 2, 2013 4:53 am

cant sell out a tent

tickets can be yours, plenty available, no sell out, not even close.

Posted May 2, 2013 3:07 am

Floyd’s gonna win!! Floyd only fights fighter who got beat up from thier previous fight. Guerrero got a hell of a beating from Berto and he is a shot fighter…sure win for Floyd!!

Posted May 2, 2013 2:46 am

Two pint sized roosters. What do they want to be when they grow up? Mayfeather will never grow up, mentally it is beyond his scope. Both these little poodles look so mean until you realize they are not bigger than a normal 12 year old.

Posted May 2, 2013 1:43 am

I think Floyd just wanted to have a rematch for another 20 mil but soon realized nobody wanted to see him rematch Oscar.

Posted May 2, 2013 1:36 am

Excuse me, I watched part of the fight. But it still brought back the memory of what a cruddy lackluster, overblown, overrated pathetic “fight” that it was. BTW for all you fools who have said that Floyd “schooled” DLH, I just want to remind you that it was a Split Decision for Floyd. But as Larry Merchant said, it was just “a glorified sparring match.” Boy was he ever right!

Posted May 2, 2013 1:15 am

I just watched a replay of Mayweather/De la Hoya. Just as boring and uneventful second time around. It was a really big money, championship fight and neither man stuck his neck out to win. They just sparred for twelve rounds with neither one marked or hurt. Oscar made over $50 mil. for this fight, Floyd over $20 mil. What a joke.

Posted May 2, 2013 1:13 am

Because its time to take care of business. He’s got his game face ON.

Posted May 2, 2013 1:09 am

Why so serious, mayweather?
