Ford says he can stop, outbox or beat Foster any way he chooses after both fighters made weight for Saturday’s WBC title fight in Houston

Raymond Ford says he is finished talking and ready to prove a point against O’Shaquie Foster. After both fighters weighed in at 130 pounds on Friday, Ford predicted victory and insisted he can beat the WBC super featherweight champion any way he wants.

Security stood close by during Friday’s staredown, ready in case tempers flared again. This time, neither fighter made a move.

“I’m ready to go. I don’t got anymore to say, for real. The work has been put in. I’m ready to shut everybody up, man,” said Ford.

Asked by Chris Mannix about Thursday’s shove and how he sees the fight playing out, Ford made it clear he has no doubts about the outcome.

“I was just getting my push back. Everybody thinks I’m emotional and s***. Tomorrow, we settle this s***, and I’m ready. However I want it.

“I can stop him, outpoint him, or whatever.

“I’m going to win for sure. I do whatever I want to him. I promise.”

Ford’s comments came a day after Foster mocked the shove and dismissed it as meaningless. The champion has repeatedly questioned whether Ford can handle the physical side of the fight at 130 pounds.

Friday’s weigh-in suggested neither man is interested in saying much more before fight night. Ford appeared tense throughout the face-off and kept his answers short, insisting the work is already done.

The title fight headlines DAZN’s card in Houston on Saturday night, with Foster attempting another defense of his WBC belt against the former featherweight champion.
