Mayweather vs. Cotto closed circuit tickets Go On Sale This Friday

LAS VEGAS (March 20, 2012)…Four Las Vegas MGM Resorts properties will host live closed circuit telecasts for “RING KINGS: MAYWEATHER vs. COTTO” on Saturday, May 5 as Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo, Circus Circus and The Mirage open their doors for the closed circuit viewing. In addition to the world championship showdown between the undefeated Seven-Time World Champion Mayweather and World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Welterweight World Champion Cotto, viewers also will have the opportunity to witness World Boxing Council (WBC) Super Welterweight World Champion Canelo Alvarez defend his title against future Hall of Famer Sugar Shane Mosley in the co-main event.

Advanced purchased tickets for the closed circuit telecasts are priced at $75, not including handling fees. All seats are general admission and go on sale Friday, March 23 at 10:00 a.m. PST at each individual property’s box office outlets or by phone with a major credit card at 866-799-7711.

“Ring Kings: Mayweather vs. Cotto” is promoted by Mayweather Promotions, Golden Boy Promotions and Miguel Cotto Promotions. The 12-round WBA Super Welterweight World Championship fight will take place Saturday, May 5 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be produced and distributed live by HBO Pay-Per-View® beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT.
