BALTIMORE, MD (June 21, 2009) With his light heavyweight battle at Reno’s SUMMER SHOWDOWN against Yerington’s Jesse Brinkley just three weeks away, Mike “THE PERSCUTOR” Paschall has ramped up his training and confidence level for their light heavyweight bout. Finishing up an intense 90 minute training session, Paschall spoke about the upcoming fight.. “I watched Brinkley’s last fight with Joey Gilbert and I wasn’t impressed. Gilbert didn’t want to fight and I can tell the fight fans in Reno that they’ll see a much better fight on Friday, July 10th.” Speaking about his training for the fight, Paschall stated, “My training and sparring has been perfect for this fight. I’m in great shape and right on weight for July 10th..”

About how he will fight Brinkley, Paschall said, “I’m going to fight him like a dog. Take it right to him from the opening bell. He won’t have to come looking for me or chase after me.”

In regards to fighting before the heavily partisan crowd expected in Reno, Paschall said, “I fought there twice as an amateur, won both times. They could set up the ring in Brinkley’s backyard and I’m okay with that. Fans in Reno want to see a real fight and that’s what they’re going to get.”

YORK, PA (June 22, 2009) Tickets are now on sale as Chet Koerner’s TKO BOXING Promotions, originators of the nationally acclaimed “HOMETOWN HEROES TO WORLD CHAMPIONS” boxing series presents “THE BATTLE OF YORK 4” on Saturday, August 1st at the Sovereign Bank Baseball Stadium, home of the York Revolution.

Featured at “THE BATTLE OF YORK 4” will be the favorite sons of Central Pennsylvania boxing; Carney “BEEPER” Bowman, Eric Nemo and Stevie Weimer along with world ranked contender Anthony “THE MESSENGER” Thompson of Philadelphia, PA.

Born and raised in York, PA, the 26 year old Bowman, 13-0-0 (5KO’s), has headlined all three of the TKO BOXING Promotions cards at the Valencia Ballroom, most recently thrilling the packed house on March 7th with an outstanding eight round decision win over Columbian veteran Jesus Perez. The all action Bowman will look to stay undefeated as he continues his path towards a world ranking.

Returning from an almost two year layoff, the 25 year old Nemo, 7-1-1 (3KO’s), returned to action on the March 7th Valencia Ballroom card with a brutal third round knockout of Ricky Alexander, a bout that had the fans on their feet throughout the fight chanting for Nemo.

Exciting young prospect Stevie Weimer has gotten his professional career off with a bang, winning all three of his bouts in 2008 to start off with a 3-0-0 (2KO) record. The

19 year old native has impressed fight fans in York and Baltimore with his aggressive style and heavy hands.

Fighting for the first time in York , PA , Anthony “THE MESSENGER” Thompson will look to stay on the winning track as he displays his vast array of world class skills and fan friendly style.

The 27 year old world ranked junior middleweight sporting a record of 24-3-0 with 18 knockouts, is coming off a destructive first round knockout of Luis Lopez on May 2nd in Johnstown , PA.
