“Y’all got to see him in the gym,” Shakur said on The Agnews Project. “The things that he can do, bro. He’s going to be hard to beat.”

“From a boxing standpoint, he’s got everything,” Stevenson added. “He the truth.”

Davis has been rebuilding at junior welterweight after being stripped of the WBO lightweight title in June 2025 when he failed to make weight for his scheduled title defense against Edwin De Los Santos.

The comments from Stevenson were reposted on Wednesday by Boxing Massacre on X alongside a debate about Davis’ style and standing among top fighters at 140.

Davis remains one of the more discussed fighters in the division because of his athleticism, confidence, and amateur pedigree, though some fans have criticized his recent performances for lacking action.

Stevenson made it clear he believes the public is missing what Davis does behind closed doors in training.
