This Friday night sees action return to the Malvern Town Hall, Victoria, Australia for the first time in 2014 in what is set to be an exciting night of action.

The six fight card will see leading Victorian stars, undefeated middleweight Michael Zerafa (14-0, 7 KOs) and light welterweight Terry Tzouramanis (11-1-3, 2 KOs) in action along with the comeback of Manny Vlamis (11-3, 8 KOs), returning after almost two years out of the ring.

To complement an impressive local card are two boxers out of the Phillipines, who appear set to take Malvern Town Hall by storm tomorrow evening.

Headlining the night’s action is WBA #2 ranked light-flyweight Randy Petalcorin (20-1-1, 15 KOs). The Filipino dynamo is firmly in the frame of landing a shot at the WBA title this year after titleholder Kazuto Ioka (14-0, 9 KOs) relinquished his title last month, choosing to move up to flyweight.

Petalcorin takes on former world title challenger Lookrak Kiatmungmee (7-6, 4 KOs) of Thailand over ten rounds.

Petalcorin’s compatriot is undefeated lightweight Harmonito De La Torre (12-0, 7 KOs). De La Torre has fought his past two bouts under the bright lights of Top Rank Boxing’s Macao promotions, most recently last month on the undercard of Miguel Vasquez – Denis Shafikov bout. That night he defeated Indonesian Yakobus Heluka (7-6) via first round knockout.

This Friday he takes on another Indonesian Andy Letding (7-3-3, 3 KOs) in a bout scheduled for eight rounds.

Both fighters are promoted by the host of Friday night’s card, Peter Maniatis.
