Said Terry Lane of “Let’s Get It On” Promotions, “Jesse is willing to fight any of the world champions or top rated fighters at super middleweight or light heavyweight.”

“Since the Gilbert bout we’ve tried to make a big fight at 168 or 175 to no avail. Paschall is a tough, aggressive, strong southpaw who has promised to take the fight right at Jesse. He’s looking to capitalize on Jesse’s world ranking and sees this fight as a great opportunity.”

Said Brinkley, “I’ll go anywhere and fight any of the top guys at 168 or 175. Paschall is a tough, aggressive fighter who will provide a real challenge for me as a southpaw. I’ve seen him fight a number of times and our styles should make for a very entertaining fight for the fans.”

The 29 year old Paschall also spoke of the style matchup; “The best part of a fight like this is neither of us will have to go searching for the other. I’ve seen Jessie fight quite a bit and respect what he’s accomplished in the sport.”

“I want to test myself against a top guy and he definitely fits the bill. I know he’ll have all the fans on his side that night in Reno, but I’ll be prepared to give him the fight of his life.”
