Popular IBA World Super Featherweight Champion Monty Meza-Clay (25W-1L, 16KO) will return to battle on November 24, 2007 against tough Dominican Pasqual “The Tiger” Rouse at the Iceoplex @ Southpointe as the Main Event of an action packed night for tri-state area fans presented by World Class Fight Promotions..
The Champion Meza-Clay, also WBO #10, WBA #13, is known for his entertaining and action packed style and is coming off a 6th round knockout of tough Philadelphia Lenny DeVictoria in July and an exciting “Fight of the Year” candidate victory over Former World Champion Carlos Contreras in May, both in front of a sellout crowds at Heinz Field.
Also scheduled on the card will be the “The New Breed” including Mike “Steel City” Strauss (2W-0L, 2KO) – former PA State Golden Gloves Champion, Jimmy Lubash (2W-0L, 1KO) – former PA State Golden Gloves Champion, “The Magic” Juan McPherson (7W–0L, 4KO) – former Amateur World Champion and professional prospect sensation, Tommy “The Pride of Fayette County” Karpency (8W-0L, 4KO), “Lightning” Rod Salka (2W-0L, 1KO) and a “Special Attraction Bout” featuring “The Sandman” Khristian Geraci of the MMA Reality TV Series “TapouT”.
