Former heavyweight title challenger Otto Wallin joins the completed eight-fight lineup, which streams live on Paramount+ and is headlined by Edgar Berlanga
Zuffa Boxing has completed the lineup for its July 26 event at Madison Square Garden by adding former heavyweight title challenger Otto Wallin and several unbeaten prospects to the preliminary card. The additions finalize an eight-fight show headlined by Edgar Berlanga against Steven Butler.
Wallin (28-3, 16 KOs) meets Ukraine’s Vladyslav Sirenko (22-1, 19 KOs) in a scheduled 10-round heavyweight contest. The Swedish southpaw has shared the ring with several of the division’s biggest names, with his only defeats coming against Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Derek Chisora.
Another bout expected to draw attention features unbeaten heavyweights Kashaun Davis (11-0, 11 KOs) and Mihai Nistor (8-0, 8 KOs). Both fighters have stopped every opponent they have faced as professionals. Nistor is also known for scoring a knockout victory over Joshua in the amateurs before representing Romania at the 2016 Olympic Games.
The preliminary card also includes Harlem welterweight Arnold Gonzalez (18-1, 9 KOs) against Emiliano Moreno (12-1, 7 KOs), while undefeated featherweights Troy Nash (7-0-1, 1 KO) and Ethan Perez (8-0-1, 3 KOs) meet over eight rounds.
Rounding out the undercard, unbeaten super featherweight Dominique Francis (16-0, 10 KOs) takes on Andres Sosa (18-4, 9 KOs).
The event is headlined by Edgar Berlanga (23-2, 18 KOs), who faces Steven Butler (38-5-1, 32 KOs) in a 10-round super middleweight bout. Former IBF junior welterweight champion Richardson Hitchins (20-0, 8 KOs) also makes his welterweight debut against Ricardo Salas (24-2-2, 18 KOs) in a scheduled 12-round contest.
Opening the main card, middleweight Jalil Hackett (12-1, 9 KOs) faces former world title challenger Sergiy Derevyanchenko (16-6, 11 KOs).
The full eight-fight card will stream live on Paramount+ in the United States, Canada, Latin America and Brazil at no additional cost for subscribers. The event will also air live on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
