The comments come amid ongoing debate about whether the heavyweight clash should be staged in Britain or moved to Las Vegas.

Many British fans have argued that a fight between two British heavyweights belongs at Wembley Stadium. Others have pointed to the potential involvement of Dana White and Zuffa Boxing as a reason why Las Vegas could still emerge as a serious option.

One factor that has received less attention is timing.

While Fury and Joshua have agreed to fight, both men still have business to take care of before a blockbuster showdown can become reality. Joshua is scheduled to face Kristian Prenga on July 25, while Fury is expected to return in August.

If both men win, Turki will have the flexibility to choose between a massive Wembley Stadium event or a Las Vegas promotion aimed at expanding the fight’s reach in the United States.

A loss by either fighter could alter those calculations.

Fury enters the proposed bout following back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, while Joshua is coming off a win over Jake Paul after his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois. Both fighters still have tune-up bouts ahead of a potential showdown later this year.
